Purchased when my son started Kindergarten. He is now in 2nd grade and the backpack is still going strong! Zippers are working perfectly, no tears or holes. The one exception is one of the mesh side pockets for a water bottle has a tear in the mesh (but is still usable). This thing has been tossed, thrown, and dragged all over the playground and sidewalks/streets home for over 2 years now. We've thrown it in the washing machine about 3x now. I thought it would last one school year and am pleasantly surprised to see it still kicking. It is the perfect size for a Kindergartener. As a 2nd grader, it still works really well for my average-sized son. I imagine he'll need a bigger bag when he hits 4th grade or so. It is a very simple bag with one main compartment, a smaller front pocket, and two mesh side pockets for water bottles. It easily fits his lunch, water bottle, a small snack, a jacket, 3 books, and a couple folders. In Elementary school, kids really don't need anything beyond this.

This is a high-quality, well constructed, obviously cute backpack. I bought it as a diaper bag and a preschool backpack for my toddler. It’s boxier in shape than some backpacks, which makes it surprisingly spacious on the inside. Plenty of room for diapers, wipes, snacks, a spare set of clothes, a lovey, and some small entertainment like markers and a pad of paper. The two features that set it apart from other backpacks for small people is the chest clip which actually keeps it on a toddler and the mesh side pockets. I’ve had a lot of backpacks (many adult sized!) with mesh side pockets that were either too small to get a water bottle in or would end up tearing through after a few uses. These mesh side pockets you can fit a full adult sized canteen and the elastic is very strong but also very stretchy. They are also on both sides so you can have two water bottles. Really, I’ve got nothing but praise for this backpack.

Has sufficient space for necessities - i keep this bag filled with about 10 Pampers, a full pack of wipes, two outfits (size 2T for reference), 3 pairs of socks, a small container of soap and lotion, a cup, a few snacks, a small nap time blanket. Originally bought for daycare but it has turned into our everyday, all the time bag. This bag has been very convenient and easier with it being a more reasonable size than the big bulky diaper bag. No issues with zippers or side pockets tearing.

Cute backpack! I bought this for my almost 2 year old son to pack toys for church and outings and it fits his toys and books and snacks in it perfectly without it being too heavy for him. The backpack is big for a 2 year old but I knew that ahead of time. Good quality material and the zipper feels sturdy as well. Love the colors!

Love the shorter bag size but the expanded bucket width so my toddler can put his lunch box in his backpack for day care along with other needed items. Zippers move smoothly and are easy for a 3 yr old to use. I hope it lasts for years to come as his school bag
