I got the npt sensor, but because of the super fine threading it didnt fit in my chevrolet's temp sensor holes in the cyl heads. So I got the inline adapter mishimoto offers. Personally I've got more confidence in that design's accuracy. all that's needed is removal of a small, straight section of the coolant hose going from the radiator to the thermostat housing. Think you need like a 5" straight section that you remove an inch and a half from (thats a guess based on memory.)
