Not what I expected
Not what I expected. Book is the size of an A5 and contains approximately 5 pages. I previously bought all my Chip, Biff & Kipper books from Waterstones. They are A4 sized, stories contained lots of pages and puzzles all for less than ยฃ5. I thought I was buying the same thing on amazon. Unfortunately not. I should have scrutinise the product description in more details before making this purchase.

Awful book!
To be clear, this is reviewing Oxford Reading Tree: Level 2: More Stories B: The Wobbly Tooth. I purchased this as my 5 year old has his first wobbly tooth. I hoped to find a book he can read in order to help him understand what is going on and allay any fears. In my opinion this book is unsuitable for a young child with their first wobbly tooth. The book starts predictably with Kipper's wobbly tooth, before quickly moving to his mother and father wanting to pull the tooth out with pliers. It then swiftly moves to Kipper being hit in the face with a swing, knocking the tooth clean out. Kipper swallows the tooth and worries that the tooth fairy won't pay up. SPOILER ALERT: She does. And by the looks of it he got a good price too. I guess even rubbish stories need a happy ending, hey? Needless to say, this book went directly from the door mat to the bin, and didn't pass the child.
