I didn’t order these in time to use them before my baby came, but I decided to use them postpartum anyway. The mask is quite large, more than ample enough for me to cover my no-longer-pregnant belly. I am confident that it would have provided enough coverage while I was still pregnant. There are two layers… the wet fabric/mask and a layer of tulle-like fabric. The tulle prevents the mask from sticking together/sticking to itself. The mask definitely clings to your skin as soon as it touches, so it did take some effort to try to smooth it out. It’s certainly not going to go on completely smooth with no wrinkles. The mask is definitely cold. You’ll want to be sure your room is warm and comfy! It’s also pretty wet, so the moisture may run down your belly a bit and dampen whatever you are sitting/lying on. It’s very hydrating and soothing! I have sensitive skin, and many products irritate my skin and make it red and/or itchy. This product did not irritate my skin at all. It was very refreshing. I chose to deduct one star because these masks are very expensive. $10 is a lot to pay for one ten-minute mask.

The Everden soothing belly mask is a great choice for the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. However, it is also good for hydrating the skin to improve pre-and post-pregnancy elasticity. It covers the whole belly and also the sides (depending on overall size). It may not reach all around the sides at the very end of pregnancy. The mask has a neutral scent that reminds me a bit of argan oil. The mask has a mesh topping on it in the packaging. I chose not to remove it as it seems to hold the moisture in. I enjoy wearing the mask before bed to allow for the mask to stay on the longest. It is hydrating and appears to improve elasticity. It is worth considering. Suggestions for improvement -Consider a larger supply of masks The package is a little difficult to open

The idea of these is interesting but I'm not sure how realistic they are in actually making a difference in stretch marks. Sure, hydration helps but I'm not sure this did any more in the long run than daily moisturizing. Also, this doesn't cover the whole stomach. It only really goes across the front but what about all the stretch marks on the sides? I guess I could somehow use 2 at once but that makes it even more expensive per application. I'll certainly use them all because why not but they're pricey and not totally practical because they don't help the sides.

I was really intrigued by these belly masks. It can be hard to find self care products that are 100% safe for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers so I really appreciate this line from Everden. Each mask pack comes with plenty of serum and feels so soothing on my skin. I do think it can be a bit more moisturizing though. I just apply some sweet almond oil afterwards and it keeps the dry itchy skin at bay for a long time. It is now part of my weekly self care routine to keep stretch marks at bay.
