An Enthralling Mix of Vampires, Magic, and Romance – A Must-Read for Paranormal Lovers!
Sadie Kincaid’s *Forged in Blood* is the perfect blend of dark academia, mystery, steamy romance, and paranormal fantasy that I didn’t know I needed! The world she’s created at Montridge University is intoxicating, filled with magic, vampires, and secrets lurking behind every corner. The protagonist, Ophelia, is a strong and relatable freshman who dwells in loneliness but is determined to help others and become a social worker because of her orphaned upbringing. But when she encounters the dangerous yet alluring Axl, Xavier, and Malachi from the Ruby Dragon Society, everything she thought she knew begins to unravel. The dynamics between them are electric—Axl and Xavier start out as bullies, but the way they, along with Malachi, eventually fall for Ophelia makes for a thrilling romantic ride. And let’s talk about Malachi—he captured my heart right away! But it’s Professor Alexandros Drakos who truly stole the show. He’s the perfect brooding, tortured hero, and by the end, you’ll be absolutely swooning for more.Kincaid’s writing is rich, sexy, and keeps you hooked from page one. Her transition into paranormal fantasy romance is seamless, and I’m already eager to see what comes next in this spellbinding series! If you love mystery, vampires, and why choose romance, *Forged in Blood* is a must-read.

Fun paranormal romance
**Audio Review**I'm struggling a bit on how to rate this one...on one hand, I adore Sadie as an author and the last few chapters of the book left me wanting to find out more, but on the other, I just didn't vibe with the majority of the book. I'm not typically a romantasy reader so take my review with a grain of salt.I was really intrigued by the beginning of the book, the little bit of history that we get about Ophelia's character. Ophelia is a college freshman with a mysterious past, who feels as though she's never truly found her place. When she winds up with a full scholarship to Montridge University, she heads off to college expecting the "typical" university experience. What she gets is a whole lot more...witches, vampires, werewolves, and magic. This starts off as a bully romance, with Axl and Xavier being pretty awful toward Ophelia. Malachi is a little more kind right off the bat, and Alexandros Drakos fills the role of the broody, grumpy professor. The progression from bully to head-over-heels was a little fast for my taste, but it was still an enjoyable ride. The whole cast did a good job with narration, but June really stole the show for me. Her ability to convey emotion and depth with Ophelia was unmatched in this book.

Sadie Kincaid wrote it.. GET IT!
Im not lying when I say if Sadie wrote it to get it. This book has it all and I’m here for it! I loved that she popped my paranormal/fantasy romance cherry! lolBut to the book… I loved how I was able to feel Ophelia’s emotions throughout the book. And let me not forget about my boys.. Malachi, Xavier and Axl they are the vampires that I need in my life! The change from the start of the book to the end is amazing! And let’s not forget funny especially the “I’m gonna freeze them and eat ‘em”And last but not least.. Professor Alexandros.. if I wrote something about him I don’t think it will do him justice.. but you want to meet the hot professor and see what happens in his office, read the book <3Sadie thank you for allowing me to read this and for gifting us another book. Can’t wait for book 2 and then book 3.
