Peet’s Coffee is rich robust and wonderful! So so fresh and full of flavor and extremely smooth and never ever bitter like many other big name brands ! Peet’s roasting methods surpass Any other coffee I’ve bought by far. The French Roast is my go to!! A Rich dark very flavorful , velvety chocolatey smooth Coffee. Best Coffee Ever!! Major Dickenson’s also another great dark roast by Peet’s of Berkeley, Ca!!

Rich and smooth! Best drip coffee on the market.
(Written from husbands account) I have tried a lot of different brands of coffee and blends over the years and the Peet’s French Roast is by FAR my favorite. I even tried Peet’s Major Dickasons blend which is the most popular and I didn’t like it as much as the French Roast. My husband also really likes it, as do my parents, aunt and uncle, and grandparents. It’s so rich, yet doesn’t have that bad bitter aftertaste that often accompanies a dark roast. I love that it comes in a 28oz bag and lasts me about a month, if I’m making it every day for two people. I cannot recommend this enough. I only wish Amazon would offer the whole bean version, because I would really prefer to grind my own beans.

Excellent dark roast with deep, bold flavor and a smooth finish. The French Roast is rich without tasting burnt, and the aroma is amazing. Fresh, high-quality coffee—perfect for strong coffee lovers. Highly recommend!

Great coffee.
Finally found a great dark espresso flavor. Just went to a little village in France and who would have guessed that while they serve great espresso, they don't sell it in the small grocery store. Glad I brought this along just in case.

Good Dark roast
Dark roast flavor at its best! Stays fresh in package since it can be closed. If too strong can mix a little normal coffee and get the perfect roast!
