6'6' MH rod. Not as stiff as my Ardito travel rod, but at less than half the price, it is solid. Enough backbone to catch bigger fish. Very similar feel to my TFO rods, so it's a good value. UPDATE10/20/23- One of the sections broke, I see that there is a 1 year warranty on the rods, we'll see how this goes. Will leave the 5 stars for now, as I really like this rod. UPDATE 10/28/23- Goture honored the warranty, New replacement rod arrived today. Buy with confidence.

The rod is perfect if you travel(especially by air). Fits perfectly into luggage for easy transport. Additionally, the instructions provided prevent over exertion in assembling the rod, very much appreciated! A good rod for the price and needs of a traveling fisherman. I would buy it again , as it nicely compliments my other rods in the collection.

I liked the rod but an 8 foot shark broke the rod on first time out. I had a similar travel rod and t he seller has not responded positively to replacing the section that broke. Now I suspect I'm going to get the same song and dance. I am disappointed in that.

I’m very pleased so far with the quality build of this rod. I am comparing two other rods with this one and this is the one I’ll be keeping. I bought the 6’6” MF Cork one. Pros- Overall build quality is better than other rods of the price range. The reel seat is without question better than others tested. The hard case alone is worth the purchase. Cons- I really wish the cork was full length and not segmented. This would definitely make the rod more comfortable and a higher quality. I’d spend a little more money on it if it did. Other notes: I will be using 15lb braid with leader and my reel is a Penn Spinfisher VI 4500 GLS. I still need to field test it this week in Belize saltwater for reef fish so this review may get updated.

I bought this travel rod for a fishing trip last year that didn't end up happening. I finally got to use it this week down in the Florida Keys. Everything seemed ok for awhile. Then all of a sudden a fish hit and the rod broke clean in half. It didn't even end up being a big fish. This rod must not actually be carbon fiber because of the clean break. I did buy it because of the value, but it should be able to handle a 16" fish. My advice, steer clear.

Good for the price. I broke the tip because it is fragile.

All materials with this rod are much better than expected. I would purchase this again.

Nice travel fishing rod. Took with me to Florida and carried in water bottle sleeve in backpack. People were asking what it was in the airport and were curious about traveling with fishing rod. Casted all saltwater lures wel. Easy to assemble and put away for travel
