Nice compact aquarium
Nice and compact for my desk. It is totally silent. I like that the front corners are rounded glass , giving an unobstructed view. The filter is cheap and easy to replace. Considering that it is only 2 gallons, I have two small colorful fish which seem happy with their new home.

Fish & Frog KILLER
The tank aesthetically is nice and the size was perfect for my 7yr old (Birthday Gift) we went out to PetSmart brought pre condition water and 2fishes 1frog. The person there said 3 was max for the size of the tank but babyyyyyy within 3hrs of fish being put in one was literally floating and by the next morning the other one had passed. I even lied to my son and said they were hiding when he inquired the next morning while trying to feed them. The frog wasn’t eating and by late night day 2 it also was belly up. I observed that the fish kept getting pulled into the current of the waterfall/filter and once there it was pushed down forcefully, they were always swimming violently as if trying to escape but after the 1 fish died the other and frog found solas in hiding on top of the filter but would never come out to eat and I tried getting them away but they kept going back and staying. I googled different things and was instructed to turn the spout towards the wall of the tank but it didn’t work I even tried wrapping it in the filter pieces provided to lessen the force and reduce the kinetic energy but it just didn’t work and my pets were very stressed the entire time. Planning to return and go into a pet store to get a tank. I should have trusted the reviews on this one but I hate going on others experience but unfortunately my fish/frog payed the consequences of my trial and error.

All in all I'm impressed!
First impressions: this is a very cute, good size tank for beginners or those not wanting a lot of work. Took me all of 10 minutes to set up tops. The light works well but I was hoping it was one you could change the colors. There's another review that shows it with a blue LED tone and that is a very accurate depiction, you cannot change it from that color. I'll probably end up buying an aftermarket one to use instead. Also, the filter floss rectangles I've never worked with before and had to do some research on. My only complaint with those was even though I rinsed it in the sink first it put all these little "hairs" in the water. I used the included net to take some out and am hoping the filter works out the rest before fish are added in a few days. However it seems they're a cheaper alternative long term to traditional carbon inserts. All in all as someone who has had several novice tanks in the past decade, this is an amazing starter tank, especially for the price. It's an attractive, quiet tank that was priced incredibly well considering anything else like this was either $50+ or only had <4 stars. I'm giving it 5 stars considering my only feed back would be a more neutral toned light (or an option to change the color) and the included filter inserts leaving hairs when first installed. (Mine came with 2 different looking floss filters so maybe the other kind is better)

Cute tank but needs a better filter sponge
Super cute and sturdy. My only issue is that the water filter gets filthy fast and with the light on all the time, the tank gets full of algae fast!

Crystal clear
The filter works great and is extremely easy to use. Tanks have been set up for a few months and are crystal clear. I have had a few tanks for my betas and this is my favorite.

Guppy size only
Very nice little aquarium. Although I’d does have a filter it really doesn’t filter the tank. A better filtration system is needed. Some say filter didn’t last. You have to take it apart and carefully clean all parts take out little water wheel with q tip clean out that cavity. It will work again. Really NO GOLDFISH . My goldfish are in a 6000 gallon pond outside they grow real fast About 4 guppies OR 4 neons that’s it

Nice Fish Tank
Bought this for a birthday gift. Put one Betta fish in the tank and it has worked out well. Has a light that is fine. Some reviews offer the light is bright but we are ok with it. It was worth the price too. I would buy again.

Do NOT buy
After having fish tanks for most of my 46 years of life, this tank killed everything put in it. We had an established small tank, after setting this one up and allowing a nitrate cycle to take place and water tested perfect, we transferred our fish to it. DEAD. Cleaned and started from scratch, got the tank established again. DEAD. Re did everything again and used soldier fish to see what would happen. DEAD. Never have I ever had a tank problem. I have owned betta for 4 years in a bowl before. I have had a 50 gallon cichlid tank no problem for years and years. We noticed when throwing this tank away that the sealant used absorbed the color of water treatment used. I truly believe whatever crap they are using to seal this tank is seeping into the water and killing off everything. Our Tetra heater was working and keeping the water at the perfect temperature. We used all natural substrate. The filter on this unit never worked quite right. The current it created literally made it like a whirlpool, even when adding additional material into the filter. Horrible product. Will go back to my glass Tetra tanks. Literally look at any other product.
