We love going on nature trail rides with the horses and these freestanding saddle racks are perfect for on the go. You can easily fold them up and bring them with you when needed! You get two stands in the box - perfect for keeping one at home and one for travel. Everything was neatly and securely packaged. Each tube was secured in a plastic wrapping. I definitely appreciated that as metal can scratch easily in transit. We didn't have any issues with assembly. It only took a few minutes with two people helping. (one person could definitely do this on their own) The 132 weight capacity is more than enough for our needs considering the saddles we use only weigh 18-25 lbs. We stacked 2 on top of one of these stands and it was more than suitable. No wobbliness whatsoever. Everything felt solid and secure. The added shelf is very practical and versatile. It can be used for riding boots, horse care items, cleaning supplies, or whatever gear you might use that you want easy access to. Not sure what other uses this might have? I would say that it would be practical for throwing wet towels or bathing suits on but I'm not sure how the finish would hold up over time. The steel has a rust RESISTANT coat but not necessarily a rust PROOF coat. Still might be okay for keeping next to your front door - throwing a jacket or hoodie on it, maybe a pair of shoes or boots or umbrella on the shelf for easy access when running out to grab the mail or something.

Just two pack of saddle stands is a fantastic deal if you check in store the going price for one is the same as you’re getting for two of these. They came pretty much assembled out of the box and function exactly as they should. They’re super durable. I currently have two saddles on each one and they don’t struggle under the weight whatsoever. They’re a good size without taking up too much space in your stables. Five out of five stars because you can’t beat the price of these.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: overall great saddle racks, except one came assembled backwards? Had to unscrew it myself and flip it so I could put the feet on. Just weird… and time consuming. The second one was assembled correctly. Ease of installation: Took a long time as I had to disassemble one of them… Build quality: Sturdy

These saddle racks were pretty easy to setup and seem well made. Not too heavy either.

Lightweight, sturdy and it folds away saving space. You get two, one can be kept at the yard and one can be kept in the horsebox, brilliant! We love them and highly recommend them!

I got the pack of two saddle racks and they are really good. I was very pleasantly surprised actually. They are very easy to build and very sturdy. They appear so far to be very strong and they can hold my dressage saddle plus saddle pad etc with plenty of room to spare. So one for the lorry and one for the yard and I'm a happy bunny! They are also a good height so no bending down too much too them (although I'm only 5'3 so most things are a good height for me :-) )
