Bought this for my son, he had been looking for a while for a good quality set and this one did not disappoint. The board is lovely good quality wood, not sure if it's rosewood. The pieces are well crafted and the colour contrast enhances them. Would definitely recommend this set...

Some of the pieces were not finished as well as they ought. had sharp edges and blemishes. the containment where the pieces are stored was covered with dust from the imitation velvet lining which made a mess when open unto the table top!!!!!!
