I’m super impressed with this hot glue gun. Admittedly, just after ordering I found myself wishing I’d opted for another cordless one, but now that I’ve tried this one out, I’m glad I didn’t. The cordless hot glue gun I have is so frustrating to use. It won’t stay charged for more than just a few minutes, even when fully charged. It’s a new one too — it’s just about three weeks old, but it’s not high quality by any standards. I liked it at first, but soon I found myself dreading it when the need for a hot glue gun would arise. Now that I have this one I’m excited to use it on my projects! It doesn’t leak or drip glue, it heats up quickly and it’s comfortable to use. It’s also easy to use and I don’t burn myself all the time like I did with the cordless one. I’m super happy with this hot glue gun and I’m already seeing better results in my work. I would absolutely love to see a cordless version of this exact hot glue gun, and if there is ever one available, I’ll be among the first to order it. I’m a new fan of this brand, Thinklearn, and I very highly recommend this hot glue gun!

The glue gun I had for many many years, I had to sell when I moved. That glue gun was probably 40 years old or more and very different than modern glue guns. I have been wanting to buy a replacement glue gun for awhile but there are so many choices. I definitely wanted to stick with the full sized as that is what I was used to using. I also wanted to stick to plug in as I think it will be more reliable, always ready, and I believe it is safer than lithium rechargeable batteries. This glue gun comes with a generous amount of glue sticks to start off with and a hot pad. It comes in a way that it could be given as a gift and kept stored tha way. The storage for mine did come with a hole in it so I will have to find a plastic one to store it in. I also like that it has two temperature settings, that is a new feature to me also.

I couldn't resist this pink glue gun. It comes with a silicon mat, and 15 glue sticks. It also has a little kickstand to keep the heated tip from touching the surface when the gun is not being used.There are two temp modes. 60W (low) and 100W (high).When I plugged it in, it took about 2-3 minutes to heat up. There is also an information sheet to advise for safety.One thing I did not like is that it was difficult to remove the glue stick if it was encased in the channel. I may not want to store the gun with the gluestick inserted, so I wish the design offered that feature. Even though in the instructions it says not to worry about leaving the glue stick in, but there are different kinds of glue sticks and also glue stick wax for making was seals, so it is a necessary design feature to be able to take out used glue sticks. For not being able to easily remove an unused glue stick, I'm removing one star.Other than that I liked the product over all, including that the silicon mat was provided as well as glue sticks to get started. Overall it's a good product.

We just moved and I couldn't find my glue gun so I thought I'd try this. I really wasn't expecting much but loved the hot pad and bought it solely due to that feature as I hate my glue melting my table cloths etc. While the hot pad is outstanding, this product blew me out of the water! I figured it would be like every other glue gun I've ever had and didn't expect much. It arrived and I tried it out! It's easily the nicest I've ever used! It has a switch on the side for hot or cold temperature glue choices. It has a great stand that works well. It heats up quickly and melts nicely. I have not used other brands of glue sticks with this nor have I used the cold setting but so far I LOVE it! I would easily recommend this just on the difference with the first use of this compared to other glue guns I've owned. My only wish is that it came in other colors!

I really like this glue gun so far. The last one I had was very small, like palm size, but this is like an actual small gun size.It’s very easy to hold and work with and I was initially a little worried that it only has the one nib size, but it is still very precise.This heats up quickly and the larger trigger area seems to take less pressure to get the glue out than my last gun, or maybe it’s because this one is so much hotter that the glue flows more easily. Either way, I really like it and it’s less hand strain.It sits on its own as the handle bottom is the base and it has a wire guide at the end to hold it up off the surface, but with the included silicone mat, it’s okay, even if it tips over or leaks some glue.Overall, I give this 2 thumbs up.

There honestly isn't a whole lot to say. It's a glue gun. It heats up well, and melts the glue stick. It sticks things together. XDIn all seriousness, it is a good quality glue gun. It has a bit of heft to it, so I don't feel like I'm going to send it tumbling if I cough in the general vicinity. It heats quickly and works smoothly, and is comfortable in the hand. The silicone mat is a very nice touch, though it seems largely unneeded.

I have been using the same old glue gun for over 20 years, needless to say I needed a new one. I am so amazed at how well this glue gun works compared to my old one. Obviously my old one is old but I never got a new one because that one was so awesome. This one heats up so fast and is easier to manage. I also love that this one takes the larger glue sticks and not the smaller ones. I felt like I was constantly having to put new sticks in my old one were as this one I can get multiple uses out of one stick.

I like the dual temperature feature. It heated up very fast. I plan to use it for making my housings for silicone molds. They will be level, so I can get a good pour.It’s awesome that it comes with a stand and silicone pad to put under the glue gun when it’s at full heat and the glue is melted. Glue did drip out at the high heat setting when I did not use it right away, so keep that in mind. It heats very fast, so plug it in when you’re ready to use it so you don’t waste glue. 😃I’m new to this art activity, so I will update with my hopeful success story for its planned use.
