This drone is pretty nice, reasonably priced unit that will make a good purchase for a first-time or limited-experience to-be drone pilot. Fold the arms out, clip in the blade guards with minimal effort, press the power button on the drone and then press the standard auto take off button on the controller - you can be up and running in just a minute or two. I had the fun of trying this out on a pretty windy day - not optimal weather for a drone, especially one as small and light as this one, but I'm happy to say that it did alright. It couldn't fight the occasional 20 or 30 mph gust of wind, but I can tell you that it has survived more crashes and more harder horizontal crashes than any other drone I've flown ... er, for review purposes, of course ... and the only real result was that I popped one of the screw covers off, and I didn't even notice that until I was writing this review! The drone is not the fastest, but it hovers in place well once you've calibrated it, and it gracefully slides in a steady, predictable way. After 10 minutes of flight, the drone began blinking to let me know the battery was running low - I did not wait until it fully drained because my kids wanted to see it do flips, which it did quite well. The headless mode, camera, and all the other features also work as you'd expect. Though surely not recommended, I had it land in my palm a few times just to prove I could, plus did a 360 walk-around video - though I posted one of it in motion instead. It's pretty stable. Let's talk about what you get: A folding drone that weighs almost nothing, a controller (plus the 3 triple A batteries it needs), 2 drone batteries with 2 matching USB charging cables, 4 blade guards, 4 replacement blades, 8 replacement screws, a mini screwdriver, 4 replacement screw caps, an instruction manual, a controller cheat sheet, and a carrying case that holds everything. Some of the nice things to note: - 2 chargers for 2 batteries is a great touch! The chargers themselves have an indicator light letting you know when they're full! - 8 screws and 4 full blade replacements is far more than normal - but given how sturdy this thing is, I might never need them! Plus the right sized screwdriver - They actually provided the batteries for the controller. That's a class move right there. I was even confident enough with this to let my 9 year old daughter take it for a few flights (under supervision, of course). She used it to peek into her own bedroom and was delighted, right before running it into some bamboo and then bouncing it off an inflatable christmas octopus. No worries - the drone was fine. Popped a blade guard back into place, straightened an arm, and it was back up in seconds. I'm telling you, this thing can take a hit. All in all, a great purchase.

my trial and errors: the instructions for setup are crappy. if you leave mobile data on the camera wont work. you have to put phone in "airplane mode", then connect via wifi to the drone. then open the app and fly the drone. it flys pretty easy and camera works decent but glitchy video from jerking the drone. the slightest breeze throws it off, but recovery is easy. if having stability issues, press headless mode. (turns off auto tracking objects)

Awesome price for a light drone. Great picture quality and fast! Comes with a case to neatly hold the charger, drone, controller when not in use which is great. I flew it for the first time in windy conditions. Once I got the hang of it, it was fun to play around with. Perfect for the beginner such as myself. Setup was quick and easy too. I used android and it didnt take long at all to setup.

Used to have a small drone with no camera (priced at over double this one). Had many issues with stability and very limited maneuverability. This drone is incredibly impressive. Many options for maneuverability including speed adjustment, 360° flips, and horizontal rotation/area orbiting. Also has a quality camera with simple instructions and an app download. Drone stayed decently stable in gusty winds, however I would avoid quick maneuvers and high speeds if it is windy. I did crash the drone many times; first into a wall, then into a tree, then onto my roof, and then across my driveway into gravel. Still in perfect condition, with only a couple minor buffs. Impressed with the durability, but even if parts do break the item came with some replacement rotor blades, an extra charging cable, and rotor guards. Overall a quality drone with many cool features, especially for its low price.

Do not waste your money like I did. I turn it on the first time, with a very lite wind, very lite, and lost complete control of the drone. Before I could even use the emergency land button the drone was out of range and the wind just took it away out of sight. No idea where it is. Total garbage. If you want a drone just get a real one, not this cheap piece of ****. I got this for my kids to play around with and it flew off on the first fight. Total waste of money. This is not user error, I fly my own drones regularly, notable dji min 3 and can control it in the little wind present just fine. I'm so pissed at this junk drone, so pissed in fact I actually wrote a scathing review.

The drone looks nice enough but the drone is made cheaply, as to be expected for a $200 drone that was surprisingly discounted to $50. It flies but struggles to hover with no wind and a light breeze will blow it, faster than you can land it, directly into something that will cause it to break. I don't recommend going more than a few yards above ground. The auto flying modes either don't work at all of spin way too fast. The camera is glitchy and selfie mode doesn't work. Overall, it was a fun hour that it wasn't broken but not worth $50.

This is a good starter drone, I’m impressed with its performance. The camera captures stunningly clear videos and photos. I was able to get a unique view of a rare snow day here in the south. It was fairly simple to set up and get going. I liked the storage case and the extra battery. It was easy to fly and the feature of one-key take-off/land makes it easier to control as a beginner. It’s compact and foldable, making it easy to carry around. It would be a great gift for anyone interested in drones, from beginners to experienced flyers. I would recommend!
