there are 10 it stretches across my 20 foot pool

Yes it can be shortened. No tools. We just tied extra knots in the line near the end.

Q: Very confusing ad. it says “120 pieces” but i doubt there are one hundred and twenty floats? the picture shows 11 floats. how many?

There are only between 10-12 floats and they are small. There are small pieces in the rope that hold the floats. I still wouldn’t think 120 pieces. I returned mine bc the floats were too small.
