Liquitex Professional Effects Medium, 8-oz, Resin Sand

Nice texture.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a nice texture to create a sandy beach. I use it on wood panels for my resin art. The only negative is that it doesn’t last long and can get expensive. It may be cheaper to use a thick medium and a fine real sand.

I really like using this on watercolor paper or canvas for texture. It works really well, it’s just a little expensive.

it leaves a good texture for bases on miniatures with out a lot of work

Mixed it with yellow paint and two drops of gold and spread with a palette knife. So great for these abstracts. The texture is very visible on these pieces. Highly recommended, and would buy again.

I used the sand resin on a very large acrylic beach painting. The resin was perfect for the effect that I wanted to create.

The media could not be loaded.  This stuff is exactly what I was looking for to beef up all my cheap craft paints. I added the penny to show how little was actually used, and I scraped it off from the jar foil with a palette knife. Just scrape and mix with your knife. This jar could quite possibly last forever.

Firm hold, good texture, a solid cure. Would recommend for any hobbyist doing miniature bases.
