Pretty great.
My dog loves this bad and so do I.As a puppy, he loves to chew but can't get through the hard plastic. Fits in my ball launcher and throws great although I have a tougher than normal launcher. The little extra weight in the ball may damage flimsy launchers.I have not yet lost the ball and the bonus of it staying lit for 5 mins help to find it in long grass.I love how you can change the batteries, would be a waste if you couldn't.One slight floor. I've noticed that once or twice the light would go out whilst bouncing but only for a very brief moment, like the batteries compressed the spring in the housing. It always comes back on though.LR44 batteries don't normally last very long with excessive use so having a border collie means I will have to invest in spares. All in all, I'm happy with this ball and so is my dog.

Good ball my dog loves it !
We used to buy or klight up balls from Pets At Home , only £4 each from there , but they were out of stock so ordered a couple of these , so far these have proved better quality and more durable than the pets at home ones. They light up bright and feel strong and so far they have performed flawlessly , been using them in the dark evening wlaks and my dog loves them , plus you can see where he is when he runs around with them in his mouth !

Okay, but not great
Decided to spend a little more on the light up balls than in the past as i end up going through several over winter. So i brought two of these to make sure i make it through until the sun comes up on my morning walks. Annoyingly, half way into the winter and they have both broken.Initially they were great, very bright, and red which meant they didn't blind you in the dark and are nice and easy for the dog to see. However, they started, quite quickly to get dimmer and then stop turning on once thrown. They have only been thrown on a soft grass field and the outside durability has been okay, i guess the inside is just not up to the job.I would recommend getting a version from Pets at Home that cost £4 and has over the past month not faltered. Cheaper and currently more durable. The PAH version is green however, so it's a bit blindly bright.. but in my opinion, a smarter buy.

Brilliant - While it worked
This ball was the great solution to being able to continue playing fetch with the dog even in the dark. The light shines very brightly so easy to see from afar. This is not only his favourite ball but favourite toy. Unfortunately after a weeks regular use it stopped working. It would sometimes not turn on and then randomly starting turning on again so not a battery issue. I can no longer use it as intended as it sometimes suddenly stops working and have therefore almost lost it in the dark. If this had lasted longer it would of been the best product I have purchased for my dog but unfortunately its longevity leaves a lot to be desired.

Durable
My dog is a chewer and destroys most tennis balls within seconds and this one is still going strong only issue is it lights up at the slightest touch and stays on for five minutes I though it would only light up if impacting the ground with a bit of force and would go off pretty quickly so not really an impact light ball just generally is always lit if throwing it and dog carrying it round the park

Great ball, shame about battery life
Love this ball as take the dog out everyday in the dark, great for that. But the battery life is poor. Bought first one in September, it’s now barely six weeks later and we’re buying another. So not so great value for money. Having said that the ball is great when used and dog didn’t chew through it at all. So if you don’t mind spending £6 every six weeks then it’s great!

Eaten
Was fun while it lasted but my puppy took it apart quickly so it had to be binned and it had small parts on the inside which I worried me. Didn't really last long enough to be worth the money.

Lasted 3 days
The ball lasted all of 3 days. I bought a pack of new batteries thinking it just had cheap batteries in.Very difficult to get it open, but I made it in the end, changed the batteries, but still didn't work.It does say it is water resistant, and it should be as the dog carries his ball in his mouth, but I don't think it was resistant to his mouth.I am not totally sure about this as there was no evidence of damp inside the ball, but it just will not light up any more.A waste of money for me.
