I received a bottle of this as a sample (not from Amazon) and fell in love with it. Once I was about halfway through the bottle I started the hunt to find it, as my skin took really well to it. I use about half a dropper full each morning and my skin is soft and my tone has evened out. The price point is great considering the results it gives. No scent and non sticky!I’m not sure what makes it so special but it’s a keeper! .

I'm genuinely impressed. The texture is lovely light and absorbs quickly without any sticky residue, which I really appreciate. My skin feels noticeably smoother and more hydrated since I started using it. While it's only been a short time, I've also noticed a subtle improvement in the overall firmness and elasticity of my skin. It has a very mild, almost undetectable scent, which is great for sensitive noses like mine. It layers well under my moisturizer and makeup without pilling. For the price, this serum feels like a real steal – it delivers on its promises of hydration and a more youthful look.

I’ve tried snail mucin before. I wanted to try this because I’d love a cruelty free alternative. This unfortunately isn’t as effective. The serum did absorb nearly as easily as snail mucin but it is not as hydrating. It’s currently peak winter here and the temperature regularly reaches the teens. Which means lots of dry skin. Unfortunately my skin is just as dried out now a day or two after using it if not more so than before using it. Anyways might work well in less harsh conditions. It’s got a similar sliminess to snail mucin but doesn’t have the results.

This facial serum from The Face Shop is quite gentle and hydrating on my face and layers well with my other serums. It's quite powerful and I found it was effective as it changed my skin texture from dry and red with lots of splotchy rough areas so very soft without a red mark in sight. It pairs well with most moisturisers and I find it isn't sticky and the scent isn't too much. Drydown time was around ten minutes so keep that in mind before moving on to the next step of skincare. As always, wear sunscreen in the day as your last step unless you want crispy skin. Overall, I recommend this and would likely reorder as it is a good quality serum and a good value.
