Replacing 327 lamps
I have a bunch of 327 28V lamps in switched that are on most of every day. Replacing is often and expensive. So I found these and tried them. Extremely bright!! That's not a negative, though I'd be happy if they were a bit dimmer. But they work perfectly and I do not expect to be replacing them every couple of months like the old 327 lamps. So far, very satisfied. But be aware they are much brighter than the 327.

Not as bright as stated
They work but they are not very bright. A regular bulb is brighter than these bulbs. But they fit the same way as original bulb.

efficient, effective light source
Great pilot lamp; low current, high light output. It's not cheap, still better than incandescent for my requirements.

Brighter and different than a regular #327 lamp
Just replaced all my post lamps with these. Ordered 10, got one that was failed as a short circuit (I will have to update this review after I contact Aero-Lites about it). They are brighter than a normal #327. On a 28V system they do not dim below around 20% brightness like a normal #327 does. 100% down to 20% (approx.) and then BAM, they are off. I still need to fly with them but I think I will like them better than the regular post lamps because of their whiter color temp. and brighter output (the regular 327's were just too dim).

More light, longer life. Works perfectly as dial lamp in vintage Collins radios using 327 lamp.
I have used this in several Collins R390/urr receivers. Fits socket perfectly, puts out more light with no heat. I like it much better than the incandescent lamp. Should work in any other equipment using 327 lamp (note: the 327 is a 28V lamp as it should be even though the Amazon description reads as follows :"#327 LED Replacement Bulb | 12/14VDC | Dimmable | Replaces Bulb Numbers: #327, 376, 387, 6034, 729, 727, S3...)"
