Nice to handle, not heavy. Powerful cut, will cut quite thick woody stems. Seems well screwed together. Would buy it again.

I broadly agree with most of the other reviewers here. Good value for money, deals with normal hedges easily.Thicker branches are harder work, but the machine manages to chew through them too. I’ve managed to strip the gears on other units before, so I won’t push my luck, but the wider spacing on the teeth seems to facilitate easier cutting of thicker branches.The bad news is it’s pretty hard work on the forearms, especially when working above head-height. The good news is it cuts quickly, so you shouldn’t need to hold onto it for too long.Ideal for long, low, wide-ish hedges. You may need to do it in bite-sized chunks, but it should still be over fairly quickly. The rotating handle makes it easier on the forearms when switching from side to top of the hedge, or changing direction.

i thought this hedge trimmer was extremely excellent value for money the only down side i had was it wasn't as lightweight as i thought because of my arthritic hands i kept having to take a break but i can not fault the product fantastic long cutting blade plenty of cable and even with me having to stop because of my hands it made excellent light work of my hedge it used to take me a couple of days doing it with my shears i was done in less than an hour with this and it cut it back alot more so i wont have to cut it so often thanks .

Whilst the hedge cutters are very powerful and do a really good job, ive marked the review down as they keep making a burning smell. I emailed the manufacturer about it and never got a reply. As a result i make sure i only use it in short bursts just in case.Product is also pretty heavy

Rotating head is a very useful feature enabling a natural hand position whilst cutting vertical sides of a hedge.The hedge trimmer is lightweight considering the length and pitch of the blade and should be comfortable for anyone of normal stature to use.Materials used in the construction appear to be of good quality and the safety features ensure that both hands on the strimmer are necessary for operation.I have used this trimmer on a large hedge without problem including working off a ladder.I am very pleased with my purchase.

I needed a hedge trimmer but as I use it so infrequently was reluctant to spend upwards of fifty pounds, I found this one, read the reviews and at less than 40 was happy to give it a go. I found it easy enough to handle, it cuts well and I particularly like the fact that the cutters will rotate.

This product is not to heavy, and with the rotating head it makes the job so much easier. The quick delivery and service received was excellent.I would recommend this product to anybody who has 40ft or so of hedge to cut, it gets the job done.

When it arrived I was struck by the quality, solid and well made. After using it for the first time I was impressed by the performance. It cut through mixed hedging with ease. I had to slow down where there was thicker growth of around 2cm but again, no problems. The long blade gave a good cutting range and a straight finish. For the price this is a really good buy.
