I use it about twice per week and in about 6 weeks I got 8.5 lbs which I put in my garden. This is the easiest and most effective method of composting I’ve ever used. I won’t ever be able to do without it. It’s very sturdy and easy to use. I find it too big for my kitchen counter but it’s perfect in my basement. I wash it with soap and water after each use even though it looks clean.
