My friend loved it! She is a avid tea person!

I found out how the Brits started drinking tea and how it has become the national drink. The development of tea wares was discussed as well. It explains what High Tea really is, not what most people think it is. I will next order Shire Libraries book on tea cups and also the one on tea pots. Shire Libraries have titles on a number of subjects of interest to the audience of Georgian, Regency, Victorian, and Edwardian readers as well as other crafts and collectors of things.

Good book on history of tea and drinking. I had hoped it would also include tea drinking etiquette and tea brewing.

It is a very small light book but with lots of interesting facts.

Bought as a Christmas present for a tea drinking enthusiast who loved it so much. It was very accurate and knowledgeable of the history of tea drinking he says and even learnt some things he didnt know! A nice little present.

Perfect with a cuppa,ideal for the those that would like to know the origins of an afternoon tea party.
