Can i eat this? i've been using redmond real salt for a year but not this one which is marketed for animals. is there a difference?

Rex, thank you for your question. Yes you can eat this, but you will find it very gritty. It has a lot more insolubles which you will notice, but also a greater percentage of minerals than the Real Salt, which you may appreciate. The size of grind is also a little larger than the regular Real Salt. All the best. Mike

Does this product contain lead?

I believe Redmond Real Salt is finer and not as course. Redmond started out mining for agricultural uses then got into table salt, etc.
