I used this reducing valve to replace the worn watts reducing valve that was at least 18years old. The unit fit perfectly in the old location. I left the downstream pressure set at the shipped 50psi for my application but it’s adjustable 25-75psi. So far it works great.

Bought this from Amazon at a decent price than from plumbing shop. I adjusted the pressure using a water pressure gauge. Easy to install if you have the brass nut fittings. If soldered in then you may need plumber.
