An excellent filter recommended. Air tubing needs a non return valve Sponge needs cleaning once a week Bio balls washed in tank water Charcoal change once a month. UV bulb changed every 6 months I found suckers inadequate so added a heater clip with sucker to underneath works fine. A realy efficient filter. A potential problem you can only get replacement filter cartridge on amazon, at present they have run out. But I love the filter

Very quite and officiant great product and value for the money

Filter is fine but what the hell is up with the suckers?!! Took filter off for the first time to clean and 3 of the 4 of them came out and are far to large to get back in the hole they came out of!!!

Absolute brilliant product, has been in a few days now and the tank is crystal clean! Was suffuring from green aglee but this filter cleared it all up, it’s silent aswel which is a bonus, yes it’s a bit more expensive but as always you pay cheap pay twice! Defo recommend 👍

Works a treat

After fiddling about with this pump for a bit and struggling to see why it had stopped working, I decided to post this review. This filter is one of the best filters I have had but it needs to be full emerged in the water leaving only the spraying pipe out as seen in the video below. If not it won’t work as well as it should! Took me about a week to figure it out 😂

Do not buy. The pump itself doesnt work, and the bracket and suction pads are not fit for purpose, got it all set up in the tank, found it was to heavy for the bracket and just kept sliding to the bottom and when switched on didnt work.
