ARS HP-VS7Z Heavy Duty Hand Pruner, 7-Inch

I don’t have to stretch out my hand to use. The thumb lock and Auto Unlock with a Squeeze is the absolute best feature. Once you get this pruner you will see what an advantage that lock is in addition to the comfort when using repeatedly. Your hand will not tire and the pruners come sharp to get the job done. Have purchased several to have and to gift. Makes a great gardener gift! Excellent.

I am very critical of garden tools. This brand seems to be quite well made and seems to work very well. We will see how it stands the test of time.

Caveat emptor. I was excited to see the significant price drop of these excellent pruners. When they arrived I was stunned to see that they are child/ size half- size of the regular pruners.Good to train young gardeners.

1st impression: Really fits small hands but when fully extended, you'll need to stretch your fingers a bit to grasp the other handle. Other than that, weight is a bit heavier than expected cuz of its compact appearance. It's sharp, feels hefty & well made/qualitied. Good spring back at each cutting. Overall, it's a nice pruner.

This is very comfortable for small hands, unlike many other shears I’ve used. Very little pressure is required to cut, blades have stayed sharp so far with proper care (wipe with alcohol after each use). The latching mechanism takes a second to figure out and is a little clumsy but I feel assured that it won’t unexpectedly pop open. Would purchase again to gift someone else.

Great quality. And nice for hands that are smaller than a basketball player's. Used a few dozen times so far, and these are the best pruners I've ever had (I've had half a dozen Fiscars, Corona's and other no-name hand pruners). Didn't expect the lock/unlock button, but it works so well and so smoothly compared to any other brand/design, it is now something I highly value.

Very sharp and easy to use. Didn’t know how good a pair of clippers could be. These are great.
