Let me first start off by saying I have two Lincoln welders power MIG 255 and the weld pack 110 volt excellent welders I bought this so I can learn TIG welding we'll talk about the mig part first this thing lays beads so much better the arc is so stable and smooth I prefer it now over either one of my Lincolns as a matter of fact I gave my neighbor the well pack because this is so much better Even beginners can do a good job and if you're experience this is a real treat to weld with now the Tig my first time within six tries on steel I have not tried aluminum I am nailing it is lays beautiful welds it's really quite easy I thought this was going to be difficult aluminum may be don't know I did YouTube several tig welding videos so I would set things up and do it right and know what I was doing for the money I would highly recommend you getting one I did buy the four-year extended warranty now in my opinions this machine is not something you would use industrial and run the hell out of every day I don't think it's going to hold up for that but for the weekend warrior this is the only welder you need I promise you'll be happy with it I live in Phoenix and use it for a lot of little jobs and I can see me using this thing a lot and actually enjoying it more it's lighter easier to move around I hope this helps some of you on making your decision

A great welder for the price, I was very surprised by how well it welded, was an easy set up and go. Got the tig attachment and it welds like a champ, no circuit breakers popping, I haven't found anything that it can't do.

The yeswelder 165 is alright, definitely not a miller or Lincoln but it does its job pretty well for the price. I don’t have any gas right now so can’t speak on the mig side but flux core runs smooth on 110 haven’t tried it on 220. Stick does not like 110v make sure you have a 220 outlet or an adapter. As soon as I switched over to 220 it ran a 3/32 7018 like a charm. Small and compact easy to carry around just wish the leads were a bit longer.

I bought this unit a while back and did a few flux core mig small projects. Worked fine. When I went to run 220V with the same setup I've used with other yeswelder products, the unit would not power on. Nothing. Contacted yeswelder, sent video per their request and description of problem. They told me to try another plug or plug unit directly in which I stated I already tried. Now I have to try and sell the unit as a 110v only on the second hand market. Takeaway: Test your unit right when you get it. YesWelder will not stand behind their product if it's defective and outside 30 day window. Was worth a try. Sad as I've been very happy woth their products in the past. There are many budget welders out there, but won't be purchasing with them again. Sometimes it's true you get what you pay for. Edit: YesWelder got back to is sending a replacement unit. Really like it, and still have to learn more. I'm not a welder but work with a few friends and love this. So I would love to learn welding not for living so for learning purposes and for myself. Very light, price is good, useful options, great, powerful,

I read pretty much every review for this welder on here and decided to buy it. I was very skeptical while waiting for it to arrive due to the price at which they are offering this thing. When I got it, the box it came in wasn't all dressed up like one from a local store so that had me concerned but as I started unpacking, I couldn't help but notice that the quality of the leads, ground, and gun was way better than I expected. (Actually better than Harbor F.). Had to set it up immediately and try it out and I first tried the synergetic mig and was blown away and how easy and good this thing welds. For this price I know what I'm getting my dad and brother for Christmas!

amazing little welder. My daughter is just starting out welding, and its perfect. Adjustments are easy to make, and while mig welding you can use the synergy option to help adjust amperage and wire feed. Small lightweight, and would compare it to an early Lincoln any day. Perfect for everyday fixes around the shop. The 110/220 option is awesome as well.

Ok welder, but getting replacement parts is impossible. The manufacturer does not sell a replacement mig gun and they referred me to another amazon listing to purchase one, but they don't even know what equipment their own machine takes. Find another brand, yeswelder cannot support their own machine, so if anything happens, youre SOL
