I have been using this for a while then got a standard toilet top unit for travel. It was a necessary evil. The toilet top model is just like sitting on a toilet only you get a little cheek in the water. If sitting on a toilet hurts, then why would you want a sitz bath that feels just like a toilet - only less roomy because it has to fit inside the seat??? A sitz bath is not a bidet, it’s about relaxing all those pelvic floor muscles in hot water. That means you need to get all those muscles into the water for a soak. That’s why this is better. Unless you’re traveling or have mobility issues. I’m small & athletic by any standard, around 120lbs. This is so roomy, it’s like a little bathtub in the shower. I love it! It has feet to allow water to run underneath so it doesn’t block the drain. It has a curved edge to grab to drain or move it. There is also a plug in the bottom but, it’s hard to open it when your backside is on it! Considerations with this or similar products: 1) This slides on my penny tile - which is fun, unless you don’t want it to. Consider putting a towel under it 2) People with mobility issues will have trouble getting in & out. It’s basically a deep squat or a roll & dismount. Consider if you need bars or assistance. If you have very limited mobility, you might want the dreaded toilet top model.

The product was great I just minused one star because it was missing the slip grips but I did not have time to wait for a return I wanted to use it ASAP and the only way to get a replacement on the missing parts was to go through a full return

This is so much better then having to fill up the tub when you need to soak. I use it a lot works when sore bottom.

Way to big could of been half that size doesn't fit on a toilet that's for sure. Tried a chair couldn't hardly get in it, it was a good thing I was just trying it out firstI almost flipped trying to get up extremely dangerous I don't recommend all I wanted was just a sitz bath without the flush then I get a beast big enough for Andrea the Giant

I wish I found this two years ago! I recently had surgery and this has been a lifesaver for sitz bath. I’ve tried other things that were not even close to comfortable as this is. The size is perfect for me, if even a little oversized. For reference I’m 5’6 and 140lbs. The easy empty tab makes it easy for draining.

Decent size for taller people (5’9”, 190 lbs), but the non-slip is not stable at all. It would not fit anyone over 6 ft tall or wider than 45 inch hips. Anyone not mobile or able to crouch down on their own would slip and fall.

This is for my wife. Great quality, easy to clean, and worth the money. At first, I thought it was too shallow, but it’s actually perfect for a sitz bath.

This is so much better than those plastic ones that sit on the toilet seat. They are not comfortable. This sitz bath can sit on the bottom of your shower or bathtub and holds the perfect amount of water. Because the base is flat to the floor it is so much more substantial and comfortable than those that sit on the toilet seat. Also any overflow goes in the shower, not over your floor like the toilet seat kind. Those small holes at the back weren't sufficient on the toilet seat style. Definitely recommend this.
