Excellent set for budding artist or anyone who wants a variety of coloring untensils in one carry box.The box is terrific! The pens and crayons are quality.Love the box! It opens and unfolds with 6 different holders for the six different markers. Hard case that won't bend nor corners won't fold over. When folded into a circle the top holds it all together very securely. Excellent design and quality materials for the box.I had to definitely look at the Amazon description to know what the different markers are. There is a small piece of paper with a description of each marker but this is translated to English and absolutely does not make any sense at all. Example: Colored Pencils are listed as pieces of plastic colored lead.The colored pencils are quality and smooth writing.Crayons are not normal wax crayons. These are quality oil based crayons that glide oh-so-smoothly. I've never used a crayon as this and love these!The "dot markers" are simply water based, large point children's markers. I was hoping they would be the 1" dot markers sort of like bingo markers but rainbow colors. These are not. But they are good children's water based markers.There are two sets of thin point water based markers. Both the Amazon description and the list in box make it sound like these are different; they are not. You get two sets of rainbow, fine tip, water based markers.The water color pens are confusing. I cannot get them to "smear" with water. They mark on paper and look like water color painting, but they do not smear. Nice colors.

Ill start by saying I am not an artist. But my kid couldn't write a review, so ill do it for her.The good:1. The box. aside from being creative and looking nice it also allows everything in it to be easily organized and stored.2. The variety of markers, pens, and pencils is very nice. While my youngest had some issues getting the head off of a marker, that is more user error.3. All of the items worked, and worked well.The bad:1. Only one set of markers has the color names list on the marker. If your colorblind this could be an issue?2. And I quote "This mint green is not mint green... its forest green." While I dont know the difference, the 7 year old "artist" apparently does.I would definitely recommend this set.

This is a cute set, but the supplies are all very cheap and would really only be suitable for a kid. The regular markers are really cheap, but the alcohol markers, pencils, and pastels are decent and work well enough. The design of the box is really cool. I like how it unfolds which makes it easier to see and to reach everything. However, there are some typos in the design on the box. In several places, it says "silence is deat." I assume it's meant to say "silence is death" which is an odd choice for an art set, especially one where the quality is really only suitable for children. If the box were a solid color or had a more neutral design, I'd like it and use it.

It is shaped hexagonal and it unfolds into 6 triangles that yo can have standing up or laying down. The art supplies are a nice bonus, they are not top shelf quality but they are fine for children. Unfortunately the translation for the different types of pens, pastels and markers is really bad. so is the print on the top saying ‘silence =deat” ; what do they mean/ Dead, death, dear?no idea. Paint can cover that easily. My friend is an art teacher and she was like I have to have this for my classroom, well it’s mine and she has to buy her own! the current price is just $20 and a small 5% coupon brings it down to $19, considering the 6 sets of art supplies this is a good deal!

This is a fantastic set! It has a variety of supplies and I love how the case folds out to display the art materials but keeps everything neat and not scattered all over. I am really happy with everything!
