I'm so glad for this design. Very easy to assemble, though you can run into some issues. I didn't notice if the instructions said, but it does matter which way you install the rails; they're built slanted so as to facilitate getting up easier, so they need to mirror each other. Even though I messed up, it took about 5 minutes to fix my mistake, and I think that's awesome for a self-assembled product. Another sort of mistake I ran into was overtightening the screws slightly, but it doesn't seem to have affected the overall assembly. Handles and seat are comfy. Aluminum frame seems reasonably sturdy, though I didn't have a 300+ pound person around to try it. Verified that it can hold about 265 pounds with no issues though. On the downside, I guess the legs aren't all uniform since one of them doesn't touch the floor. The wobble goes away when you sit in the seat though, so it's probably not an issue.

Will be needing this in about 2 weeks so was happy to find it. Easy to put together. Really didn't need instructions because it's really basic. Nice and sturdy. Perfect fit over toilet. Great for elderly or for anyone with a particular need.

I ordered this to replace the gawd awful plastic booster seat my elderly mother-in-law was using on her toilet that was near impossible to keep clean, eventually cracked and got "fluids" in it. This is a simple, sturdy and easy to assemble toilet seat riser. The height is adjustable, the bars have extra grip on the rails, and it has BIG round suction tips to keep it well placed on the floor without slipping and sliding around! I do wish it had a lid, but you can't have everything. It's comfortable to sit on, and feels stable. It also is easy to clean! It can also double as a shower seat, something very useful if you have limited room in the bathroom and can only put in so many assistive devices. It is a little bulky to move from shower to toilet and back, but it's not too heavy and one person can move it just fine. You absolutely can't go wrong if you have someone elderly or with mobility issues in your home that needs a little assistance in the bathroom.

Easy to assemble, well constructed and is perfect for my post hip surgery. Came well packaged. Very happy with this purchase.
