An awesome addition to my collection of builds from Nifeliz !! I have done many of their kits and will continue to buy from them. I also have many builds from Lego as well and find that Nifeliz is real close to the same quality. Overall, I only had minor difficulties with some of the smaller parts that held the railings and a couple small pieces on the front and rear bumpers staying in place. I rectified the issues with a little hot glue and called it a day. The finished piece is amazing with great attention to details. The instructions had a some glitches with details and legibility, but I just broke out the magnifying glass and all was good. Great build at a great price !!

This is my second Nifeliz locomotive build and I have to say that they are on par with the big name brand and the value is exponentially better. They are fun to build, the design is excellent and the final product is beautiful. This one is a little more sturdy than the Big Boy when complete. Would have liked some kind of red lettering on the side to match the design

The husband loved it. He did say some of the more intricate parts required some glue to hold them together at times. But he now has it completed and proudly displayed above his side of the bed! The pieces fit together easy - good quality and looks great!

I put this train set together with my 7-year-old, and it was a fun! It took us about 2–3 days, working in a few-hour stretches. The instructions were decent, but there were a few areas where they could be clearer—some steps required a bit of guesswork (but no more than other big box brands I suppose). That said, the final result was absolutely worth it! The build was engaging, the pieces fit well, and my son loved seeing the train come to life. Overall, I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys detailed building projects! Totally worth the money- I will buy another set again.

It not for younger kids to build

This product was fun to build. As some of the other comments have indicated, I too encountered some of the same. Some of the assembled parts, in particular the yellow side panels and the outer edge pieces that fit at the bottom of the loco, did fall apart if my fingers pressed too hard on them or they were bumped. Yes to be honest it was very frustrating. I agree those parts in partucluar could fit tighter and hold togethere better. BUT and even though its not stated or intended as a part of the assembly process I decided to use model glue to secure these pieces. I also wanted the unit to stay together for years so this was not an inconvience as much as an added secure step. I too was missing one piece. Emailed the site and the response was very favorable. Communication was good, informative, friendly and consistent. It took about 13 days to arrive as this company deals with an international process. The instruction book was good. CAUTION: one does need to look at the pictures carefully for proper alignment with parts. I approached this as a hobby project, no set timeline to finish it in. With that mindset ---it was fun.
