Device initially received was apparently defective, which was frustrating. However, I did reach out to their customer service team, and they were ultimately outstanding. About a 24 hour lag time in messaging, and I had to be specific in letting them know I'd followed their very specific instructions for adding the device to the app, devices, networks, and such I was working with, and the way things weren't working, but the ThermoPro customer support team does appear to stand behind their product, and a replacement was shipped out, and it definitely works. Of particular note, for those of you running mixed 2.4GHz/5GHz wifi networks, you really do have to separate the 2.4 from the 5 in order to get this device to connect, and it specifically only connects to the 2.4GHz side. Fingers crossed, there's longevity in this novel little device.

Having multiple heat probes, all measuring inner, middle, and ambient Temps simultaneously really help dial in long cooks. The graphing feature is nice to have also, especially for using as a reference for tweaking things in the future. Wifi connectivity works flawless and it's nice to be able to check on things anytime, anywhere. Battery life is great, longest ive ran them is 14 hrs and still displayed 50% when finished.As for product support: After 5 long cooks, the black probe quit working/wouldn't connect. I reached out to thermopro/tempspike and within 24 hours they had a replacement on the way, no hassle. I would have been happy with just a replacement probe, but was shocked to find they sent an entire new system/setup 2 probes included! overall a Great product and impressive customer service!only "con" I can think of is the app has to stay running/idle in the background of your phone, it can't be fully closed without disconnecting. A minor nucence at best. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again!

I have used many wireless and wired digital temp probes. This is by far the best one. I went with the two pack but they make it in a four probe package as well. I do not see any way to expand mine from two to four, but if you think you may need four go ahead and get the four pack.The software is also great and works over the internet. You can even monitor it from the grocery store, range is never a problem. The software also lets select the type of food, meat, etc and how you want it done and automatically sets it for the right temp, you can also do custom temperature and names for your favorite items. It even calculates when the food will be done and does a count down time. I use it for everything that goes in the oven. Every probe has multiple temperature sensors and displays ambient (oven) temp as well. It has high and low temp alarms and will alert you when it reaches the target temp you selected.Uses USB-C which makes it easy to recharged and it will even recharge the probes off of its own internal battery. Very cool, very high tech, very precise, very user friendly and great software. Battery life is great.I can not think of a single way to make this even better. Nice to have a product so well designed and at such a reasonable price.
