I almost got this just because I like getting unique and novelty items, but when I noticed that the little puperoni dog's legs hold the cutting wheel up off the table, it was a done deal. What didn't cross my mind is how much the kids were going to love it.It cuts like a champion and is solidly made. The wheel is smaller than our previous cutter so I wondered how it would do on thicker pizzas but it is sharp enough and big enough to go right through them. One tip is to spray-rinse it soon after using so nothing dries inside the pup's mouth. Hasn't been an issue yet but that's because I haven't waited for the kids to do it =)The only issue I have, which is a minor one, is I'm still trying to figure out which way is most comfortable to hold it when cutting a pizza, since it's not symmetrical, and doesn't just nestle into my palm. I still use it over the one that does fit better, because like I said, the fit isn't a big deal - it fits well enough and the loyal puperoni dog always keeps the wheel up off the counter. This pizza cutter is cute. The dog shape makes for a fun cutting experience. It cut through pizza with ease and cleaned up well too. The issue I have is that it just feels like cheap plastic. I'm just wondering how long it will last before the wheel breaks free from the body. It hasn't broken yet but based on the feel of it I don't expect it to last.

It has a cute expression on its face, a long body with four feet, and a tiny nub for its tail. In its mouth, he is holding a stainless-steel pizza cutting wheel. The blade is genuinely sharp enough to cut through thin, thick, or stuffed pizza crusts. I love the way that it stands on its feet, thus preventing the sauce from getting onto your counter. Old-fashioned pizza cutters just lie on top of your counter, creating a mess if the pizza has a lot of sauce. I’m a bit of a clean freak so I appreciate the fact that the blade won’t come in contact with any surface area unless I purposely place it there.This pizza cutter arrived in a 9.61 x 3.5 x 1.89-inch cardboard box. There were no care instructions provided. I would think that because it is made out of food-safe materials, it can be placed in the dishwasher for cleaning. The description does state that it will “resist corrosion and maintain its sharpness over time.”I would recommend this pizza cutter to anyone just starting out in their new apartment or if they simply want to replace their old-fashioned pizza cutter.

Peleg Design Puperoni Pizza Cuter is a fun kitchen gadget and would make a great gift or stocking stuffer. It’s easy to hold and will nicely cut through a thin crust pizza. It took a little extra effort on our thick crust because the wheel isn't very large. I wish it was a bit sharper, but this makes it a safe cooking accessory for children with no need to worry about them cutting themselves.

Great conversation piece when friends are over. But, I was hoping it would do it's job and slice some pizza-pie. Sure enough - it has good weight and does a good job of slicing into what I'd call "medium weight" dough pizza - not just the super thin stuff everyone's making at home these days. I've put it through the dishwasher a couple times with no issues. The Pup does the job!

If you are Doxie obsessed like I am, anytime you find a wiener dog shaped kitchen tool, it is a must to add to the collection. This little pizza wheel is super adorable, And does actually work/function as it's supposed to to cut through your pizza. It's not the sharpest pizza wheel I've ever owned, but most pizza wheels are more about the downward pressure than they are about the actual sharpness of the blade. The only downside to this wheel is that it's not super easy to clean. Because the wheel goes inside the dogs mouth, food/pizza-sauce can get trapped inside of there and it is not the easiest to scrub clean in that tiny space. Be sure to wash/rinse well right after using, so that you don't have dried on food stuck inside.

This pizza cutter combines two of my favorite things; dachshunds and pizza!Like a dog with a frisbee (or a pizza) in his mouth, this pizza cutter is pleasantly sharp and the wheel moves very smoothly. While there is no hole at the end of the handle, in lieu of hanging this up, it can be sat on the counter and the wheel will not touch. I appreciate this feature, it acts like its own spoon rest. The cutter handle is plastic, and dishwasher safe. The price is a touch high for a plastic-handled cutter, but the dachshund aspect of it more than makes up for it and I am delighted to add it to my useful dachshund themed household items.
