This is a great RTA (ready to assemble) bookcase. My thanks to everyone who bought this before I did and left great comments on how to assemble it. If you buy it, don't tighten any of the fascinaters down, leave everything loose until you get the back (last piece that goes on) in place, then tighten everything down. The quality is nice, love the welded steel, decorative side supports and it is sturdy as can be.

Nothing to dislike. It’s a very nice, sturdy bookcase that holds a lot of book weight. Instructions were easy to follow & everything required to put it together, including the basic tools, were provided. An excellent purchase.

Great price and quality item beautiful wood not real of course but looks real with the texture. It says two person assembly, but I was able to put it together by myself in less than an hour. Sturdy and a beautiful addition to our home would recommend.

I’m happy with this organizer. It wasn’t that difficult to put together. It’s fairly sturdy with no wobbling. I like the look of it as well - just a simple design that can work in a lot of settings.

Short answer- this looks very nice, and should be very sturdy. I like the additional 5th leg for added support. I would expect this to support quite a bit of weight, either solid books or even heavier craft parts. Everything that follows is just build tips. If you intend on mounting anything to it (USB or otherwise) be aware I believe the top is hollow core. It's sturdy but super light, so unless them vitamins I'm taking lead to some serious gains overnight, it's gotta be hollow.This comes in a pretty large box, I suggest two people to carry it but you may be able to manage with 1 (I did, but I don’t recommend it). If you take away one bit of advice from this- DON’T SCREW EVERYTHING ALL THE WAY DOWN until every, and I mean EVERY piece is fitted together. Screw it together as you go, but just leave it fairly loose. Any issue I had assembling was traceable back to me not following my own advice. The only exception is the screws on the inside cubes and the cam dowel pegs. Don’t tighten the circular bit, but the peg needs to be screwed all the way in since you can’t get to it once everything is fitted. Once everything IS fitted, you can systematically screw everything else fairly tight. Tight enough to keep it from wiggling, but not so tight as to damage the material. I used a power screwdriver and finished off with a few turns of the hex wrench. Watch your torque and you’ll be fine. I typically assemble these on top of a blanket, or in this case, the box it came on. Pull everything out, set it aside and start with the top. I attached the inner uprights, made the mistake of tightening the cam locks (the circle things the dowels go into), then the next shelf, then so on. I had trouble getting the back on initially cuz one of the inner uprights was blocking the groove, as was the metal upright on one side. Just loosen things a bit and don’t force things too much.

Much higher quality than I thought it would be! Matches specifications exactly, assembles easily, and looks very nice! Would definitely recommend
