I do have little or no visible gray when I take these capsules. I can tell a difference when I take them and when I don't. Grays are much more apparent when I don't. It took a month or 2 to see results and I take 3 capsules a day. A bit pricey, but an alternative for those wanting to hold off grey hair a bit longer. A good quality powdered root would be more economical, but I find that it is easier to take the capsules. And I don't particularly care for the taste.

I am in my late 30's and I was losing lots of hair on the top of my head. Like seeing it in my hats, my pillow, when I would run my hand through my hair. I would just see 10-20 hairs all the time. After shampooing I would have a hand full of hair. Not only that but I was going gray, like grandpa gray on the sides of my head. Don't get me wrong, I need all the help I can get to look smarter but I don't need to look like Steve Martin at 40. I have been taking Fo-Ti for a couple months and it really seems to be helping. My gray is going away and my hair is not falling out at the rate it was. I am not going to tell you it grows your hair back or anything, but this seems to have helped me keep the hair I have.

I do not take it every day as I should but I can say that when I do take it I observed a definite energy boost.Also, I actually have some new hair growth in the thin spots. If you are taking Ashwagandha it can increase testosterone which in turn can have an effect on hair loss..(androgenic alopecia (male and female) hair loss occurs as a result of the action of androgen hormones) So.. maybe you might want to add Fo Ti to the mix or even use it instead of Ashwagandha if you are experiencing hair loss.

Don't know if this Fo Ti is working for my hair loss, as I added (Zhou Nutrition) Saw Palmetto. Let me tell you, if you're suffering from hair loss as I was, this combination has been a miracle. I am so pleased. I highly recommend this combination. I also take biotin. Six months later, I was getting ready to purchase this product again and the price has gone from $13.99 to more than double. Highway robbery! Will find another product.

DO NOT TAKE Fo-Ti.Do NOT take anything without consulting your Doctor first, which is only a phone call away.Reason - I just went through the a series of blood work tests, a thyroid scan at hospital's radiology lab followed by another series of blood work tests because the Paradise Fo-Ti Herb through my body for a complete loop. My symptoms included - extreme tiredness, body aches and sensitive skin. All of this after taking one bottle - one capsule per day.Since I was not feeling well I stopped taking Fo-Ti and went to see my physician, whom I have been seeing for the past 10 years. I explained what was going on and that I had recently been taking Fo-Ti. After describing these odd symptoms, he recommended that I stop my training until we figured out what was going on. He said it could be early signs of an under or over active thyroid. In case you are not aware, your thyroid gland influences almost all of the metabolic processes in your body. If not working properly, it could lead to HEART FAILURE. Needless to say this has been a very scary situation for my family and I for the past few weeks.I learned my lesson - DO NOT take vitamins or drugs that you know nothing about. Especially those that are not backed by the FDA. Always consult your Doctor before taking anything, the risks are too high.Please do not take this review lightly. I am very well educated and have always been in excellent physical health. I am a triathlete who has completed numerous half and full ironman distance races. Please do not take these capsules it did nothing for me other than create a series problems.At the end of the day I am counting my blessings. My Doctor was happy to report today that my thyroid has returned to normal and that I should be able to resume my exercise routine after I stop in to confirm the recent results with an endocrinologist.

I can't say I actually saw any improvement with hair loss. I took two a day from August 2013 to March 2014 and feel as though I all my growth and increased coverage came from the Rogain and Propecia I started 6 months earlier. I went to reorder and it went from $13 to $26 and no longer offered as Amazon Prime shipping. I know for fact I can't justify $26 a month for this product.

As a cancer survivor I've read that fo-ti has some anti-cancer properties.. as well as giving you a boost of energy and a increased good mood .. still get gray hairs so can't say that has worked so far .My husband uses another brand of fo ti and it does the same as this and he enjoys it's beneficial properties as well ..It takes about 5 days to notice your having a change of mood ..We both are drug and alcohol free as well as caffeine and it definitely will cause a restless nights sleep if you take anything that stimulates your adrenal glands. Small pieces of chocolate to late will make a restless nights sleep..I will take this for life for sure .

It isn't a miracle cure for anything but can help stimulate the kidneys and is a traditional very yin tonic used as a foundation for good health in traditional Chinese medicine. On top of this I layer on a variety of other supplements as needed, some from several traditional cultures, some based on modern biochemistry.
