The pens come in a case and have red wax-y bits on the end you have to pick off to use the pens. Be sure to fully clean them off in order to get the best use of your pens!The pens themselves are cute, I love the pastel vibes of them as well. They're not the smoothest writers, especially at the start. I've had some issues with them skipping, but for the most part they do okay. There's some ghosting on regular notebook paper, but no bleeding issues that I've had so far! I also haven't had any smudging issues with the ink at all.They're comfortable and cute, so if you want something you can write easily with but don't have to worry about keeping track of every single one of them while still having them be attractive, this is a great choice, ESPECIALLY for the price!

I was initially drawn to these pens due to their beautiful pastel colors. I'm happy to share that the build and writing quality does not disappoint. The body of the pen is satiny and feels good to the touch, and its thickness is just right at 10mm, helping prevent hand fatigue that is common with thinner pens. The steel ball in the pocket holder is a thoughtful and surprising feature for this price range, helping prevent damage to the pocket that can happen with the ubiquitous plastic alternative.One minor quibble: the tip doesn't glide over the paper as smoothly as some of the more expensive gel pens. As such, I had to exert a bit more pressure when writing, especially on paper of inferior quality, to counter the pen catching the paper. But considering the cost per pen, this is a tremendous value. I would give 4.5 stars if I could, but I'll gladly round it up to 5.

These are decent pens. They don't smudge which is a great thing with these pens. The only complaint I have is that they don't seem to write very smoothly like other pens of the same nature claim to, that I have used. But it's not terrible just expected a little better when it comes to them writing smoothly. The barrels definitely are smooth which is nice, and the pastel color of the pens is elegant.

I’m always looking for pens that work well and write smoothly. If you want a simple black gel type pen this is it! I love the smoothness of the tip and fineness of the line. It feels great in the hand and the pastel colors are fun to boot! My colleague even loved them so much she is ordering some.

These pens have been great so far. They write smooth like my pilot G5's. The ink dries fast with minimal smearing. I havn't had any issues with skipping or glopping on the paper. These are really great value for pens.

Nice smooth finish and aesthetic appeal, but write more like a standard ballpoint pen than a fine point gel in my opinion. Have not have issues with smearing or smudging thus far, but have to use more pressure than I’d prefer. Was hoping for a smoother glide - these will work fine in a pinch, but won’t be what I reach for.

Ok these pastel colors are adorably cute! Was the perfect touch i needed for my girly desk set up! They are all black ink keep that in mind.It was a bit frustrating to remove the covers of the tip but worth the wait as these glide smoothly as you’re writing and didn’t need to scribble long to get the ink going.I purposely wiped my finger across immediately after writing to test for smudging and it barely smeared at all.

These pens identically match the description displayed in the advertisement. All pens write on first try. If you are looking for pretty, reliable pens I don't think you will be making a mistake purchasing these.
