These really help get pills into my rescue kitties. Not all will eat the pill pockets on their own, but it actually coats the pill and makes it easier to get it into the kitty so they swallow it instead of spitting it out.

While my most recent cat has never been tricked by these, I’ve had great luck with them in the past. My only recommendation is to maybe pinch some off and only use what’s needed to cover the pill. If you’re giving this to a cat you need to make sure it’s small enough so they can swallow it whole. If they have to chew it and end up tasting the pill, good luck on getting them to ever eat a pill pocket again. Also, they are useless if they dry out, so make sure to keep them well-sealed. I used to seal the actual bag and then place that in a larger ziploc. It kept mine fresh for months.

One of my cats - a 7 yr old dilute calico/Siamese mix, requires a number of pills daily. This kitty (Melody) is strong and totally averse to being pilled! But I just pop the pills into one of these pill pockets and she scarfs them right down! If the pill is big I usually roll it up in 2 pill pockets. Her favorite is the salmon flavor but she likes the chicken too. The pill pockets are soft and malleable, easy to wrap the pills in them.

I use these to give medicine to my cat, and they work surprisingly well. He’s pretty picky, but the salmon smell gets his attention and he usually eats it without noticing the pill inside. The only downside is that the pockets can crumble a little if I press too hard when wrapping the pill. Not a deal-breaker, but something to be gentle with. Overall, it makes pill time much easier, and I’d buy them again.

Great Product and Excellent Price. These treats are a hit with my cat. They seem to enjoy the salmon flavor, and the soft texture makes them easy to give as a pill-hiding treat or a general reward. The price is very reasonable for the amount you get, and they've helped keep my cat's teeth relatively clean. Overall, a fantastic purchase!

Vet recommended me these. Cat loves them but she still seems to pick out the pill. I think she's just stubborn, even so this is good produce for those who can be tricked!

Pill Pockets have kept my feline cardiomyopathy patient alive for many years now. She comes running when I say "Rosie, want your pill?" Twice a day, on and on, she takes her nasty-tasting diltiazem in disguise, and considers it a treat. She prefers the salmon or chicken flavours. I also buy the canine Pill Pockets and break them into smaller, cat-sized pieces as needed. My younger male cat, who's been dealing with urinary crystals, gets vitamin C tabs in Pill Pockets, with the same enthusiasm. They save my fingers from nips and scratches and they spare my cats a lot of distress.
