Took about 45 mins to put together. Ideally you need 2 people to do it.The design of the base (which is a foot behind the pole) makes it wobble a little, however this also makes it safer as you don't tread on the base on your follow through. The backboard moves a little when it's being used for a shot but none of this bothers me for this £96.Only annoying design fault, stopping this being 5 Stars, is the shape of the hole at the top of the pole for the bolt where you secure the backboard. As it's not round, the bolt slips causing the backboard to tilt forward a bit. I will be trying to fix this by wedging a small bit of wood between the pole and backboard. ### ⭐ Purchase with caution! *by P***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 February 2019* We purchased one of these on 25 October 2018 for our 12 year old son. We assembled it on 10 November 2018. My husband is a keen DIY'er and followed the assembly instructions scrupulously. Despite constant re-tightening of the backboard it would not remain in a true vertical position. See first photo. There was also an undetectable defect in the base unit with the result that it gradually leaked water and needed regular re-filling to ensure that the basketball net would not topple over. These shortcomings were disappointing and inconvenient, but we were prepared to tolerate them. Then, after less than 3 months, the basketball hoop sheared away from the main board and is now unusable. This happened on 3 February 2019. See the second, third and fourth photos. The basketball hoop was only used 2 to 3 times per week by our son to practice in our garden. He is only 5 foot tall, so couldn't apply any force to the hoop. Indeed, the only force that was ever applied to the hoop was the force of it being struck by a basketball. I wrote to the seller GMT Sport (through Amazon) on 6 February 2019. I have never written a product review before, but I have felt compelled to do so on this occasion due to the complete lack of acknowledgement or response from GMT Sport. All I can say is that this product has been a disappointment from day one. It is now sitting broken and unusable in the corner of our driveway. It is only fit for the bin now. Hopefully the seller will see this and make contact so that we can organise a long overdue refund. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Balance issues *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 December 2018* Day one, put together, filled base with water. On tarmac surface, basketball stand fell over in the wind, breaking the base that held the water. Nice product, really bad base design.
