I use these little bags to add dried elderberries and spices to make elderberry tonic. Works well. Allows the elderberry to steep without the need for extra straining. I bought these by mistake, thinking they were larger, but they still serve the purpose. Not too thick but very sturdy. Not linty. Very easy to fill with the desired product. Bags do not affect the flavor of the product, and clean-up is very easy.
