Best available option for the GameCube/Switch
This is by far the best GameCube style controller available for both GameCube and Switch! As someone who owns the original BattlerGC, I can say this one is a big improvement. The face buttons feel significantly better on the Pro Series version, with a more solid, satisfying button press compared to the hollow feel of the original. It feels much closer to an OEM GameCube controller in terms of quality and responsiveness. Additionally, the Pro Series has more substantial weight, whereas the original Battler felt lighter and less refined. The standout feature is the digital triggers, these triggers work similar to the original GameCube controller, with a satisfying click that activates a function. The D-pad features micro switches for a crisp, responsive feel. One downside is that initially, the trigger buttons didn’t work on PC. However, after reaching out to Retro Fighters, I discovered they’ve released a firmware update on their website that now supports trigger mapping on PC. The update was straightforward, and now the triggers work seamlessly. I wonder how they missed that, but great that there is firmware for it now.The controller has Bluetooth, Wired, and 2.4 GHz wireless modes, making it adaptable for different gaming setups. While the price is slightly higher than I’d like to pay, it’s definitely worth it for the improved quality over the original BattlerGC.Overall, I highly recommend this controller, it's probably the best quality controller they have released to date!

Fantastic Controller for Nintendo Wii or Gamecube - Easy Setup and Great Quality
The controller works and feels fantastic. From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell it was a quality product. Setting it up on the Nintendo Wii was a breeze, taking only a few minutes to get everything connected and ready to go. The controller feels solid and well-made, unlike other similar products that often feel cheap and flimsy in the hands. The buttons are responsive and provide a satisfying click with each press, enhancing the overall gaming experience. The ergonomic design fits comfortably in my hands, allowing for extended gaming sessions without any discomfort. It's clear that a lot of thought went into the design and construction of this controller. In comparison to other third-party controllers I've tried, this one stands out for its build quality and ease of use. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality controller for their Nintendo Wii. Whether you're a casual gamer or a hardcore enthusiast, this controller is sure to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.

Best modern Gamecube Pro Controller out there.
Phenomenal controller. If you're looking for a modern replacement for the Gamecube controller type, this is it right here. Tons of compatibility, also works wired on PC, and Switch mode has Gyro controls. Premium feel as well.

This is an incredible wireless Gamecube AND Nintendo Switch controller.
I have tried a number of 3rd party Gamecube controllers, both wired and wireless and they all have one thing in common. They are horrible! But the Retro Fighters BattlerGC Pro is awesome so far. I have played Super Mario Sunshine, Super Smash Bros Brawl, and Mario Golf and this controller tested very well. I recently watched a video about how this controller had bad latency, but thankfully there is a simple firmware update you can get on their website. I updated the firmware just in case, but I honestly didn't notice any latency issues before the update. I was able to get "Nice Shot" in Mario Golf pretty consistently. The ZR & ZL triggers are hybrid digital/analog triggers, and I tested that in Super Mario Sunshine. You can lightly press the trigger allowing Mario to walk and spray water, or you can hold the trigger all the way down and Mario stops and sprays. I also tested to see if you can slow walk by lightly pressing the analog stick forward, and that works pretty well too. Mario does start running if you press the stick farther forward. The rumble is very powerful, it almost surprised me when I felt it the first time. Pairing is pretty simple. If you're using the Gamecube dongle, make sure to change the switch on the BACK OF THE CONTROLLER to 2.4 setting. Otherwise you'll be very confused as to why it's not pairing. Plug the dongle into the controller slot and then hold the "home" button for 5 seconds. It should pair immediately. The one thing I will say is that the controller times out from inactivity pretty quickly (like within 2 or 3 minutes). All you have to do is click the home button once and it turns on and pairs with the dongle pretty seamlessly. If latency is your top concern then you really should just be using a wired OEM controller or the Wavebird controller. But if you tend to not really notice those types of things then this will be just fine.

Functions great, had issues with control stick, AMAZING customer service!
UPDATE: I contacted Retro Fighters about the issue I had with this controller and they took care of it right away! 11/10 for customer support!I bought this to use on PC with Dolphin emulator. It arrived well packaged and with great instructions. I really like that there are multiple ways to connect to PC.I got it connected to my PC and configured Dolphin with no problem, both my PC and the emulator instantly recognized the controller. The controller itself feels great and if you are familiar with the original Gamecube controller, this one is just as easy to use. It does not feel or function like the dreaded third party controllers you used if you were the younger sibling or over at a friend's house.I have not yet tested it on my Gamecube because Dolphin runs so well on my PC.My only complaint is that in less than a week of use, the left control stick is peeling. Although minor, I expect more durability out of a $65 controller. I contacted tech support about this so I'll see what they say.
