This is a very simple, budget Omron blood pressure monitor — nothing fancy, but it gets the job done really well. It’s quick, accurate, and easy to use. I tested it side by side with another monitor (the Good Neighbor Pharmacy one you see in the photo). The readings were almost identical every time — actually, Omron’s numbers were much closer to what my doctor’s calibrated unit showed at the clinic. The only difference I noticed is that Omron usually shows slightly higher diastolic pressure, but not by much. What surprised me is that Omron works a bit faster. It starts inflating about five seconds earlier and finishes a few seconds sooner too — the whole process takes maybe 10–15 seconds less than with the other one. That might sound small, but when you’re measuring often, it’s nice not to wait. Good reliable blood pressure machine. This one is one of the more reliable blood pressure machines on the market. It gives accurate readings and lets me monitor my blood pressure. I have been on a diet for high blood pressure for three months and it has gotten my numbers back down into the "normal" ranges. Food is natures medicine cabinet and you should not feel like you need to go on medicine even if your doctor is pushing it.

This is great little monitor, it works quickly and is easy to turn on. Very light weight and easy to read. The only thing is it's hard to get the cuff set right so I'm never sure if the reading is accurate or not. Works on batteries which is great for portability

I mainly bought this for my son because one of his doctor assistants ask me to get one. They are changing his heart medicine, due to a rare disease he has he has to take heart medicine at 17. They need me to make sure with the dose going up that his blood pressure doesnt drop too low. I first tested it out on me. I have tried it 3x different times of the day and it worked fine. I tried it twice with him. One time when he was sitting on his own and his arm was bent in his lap then another while he was sitting at a table, hoping his arm being out straight compared to bent would help, but no luck. Same error of E4 on the 2nd number. He weighs 120. I am hoping to try it a few more times in hopes we can figure it out and will change review if we find a solution. I put it on him same as how I put it on me, but for some reason it refuses to work. I could of sworn a remember reading a review stating it was not ideal for someone who is very petite. But not sure if it was this one or another one. Wouldnt think the size of this would be an issue since it looks smaller than the ones, length wise, that the hospital uses around his arm when we go in for appointments.
