I never really write product reviews, but for the people who are considering buying this book who have had a loved one go through something awful resulting in a brain injury, this is the book.My partner has been in a coma, then in a vegetative state, and is now classed as minimally conscious for 7 months. He has very severe TBI. He finally went to rehab a little under a month ago (he was in hospital for the first 6 months) and whilst the rehab facility is amazing this book is the ONLY book (out of the million I have purchased) that enables you to feel closer to the injured person by teaching you the skills to get to "their level" whilst they aren't able to get to ours. It teaches you the methods and it makes you feel like you are connecting with them, which is what I have missed the most.So for anyone going through this awful experience, take a little bit of solace in this book :)
