The castor oil makes my hair very frizzy. My heart was broken when I could not find just the regular ORS Olive Oil Hair Lotion. When I did find it here online, I was so happy! It is good moisturizer. I don't worry about my hair looking or feeling frizzy and extremely dry. It gives my hair a nice shine. It is creamy but not heavy and my hair absorbs it pretty well. I can wear my hair in a protective style (flat twist or cornrows) for at least a week without reapplying the ORS. Of course when I take my hair out my hair will be dry but not Sahara Desert dry. When doing a slick bun style, I would wet my hair and add my ORS. I would rub a generous amount in my hair then comb it through and tie it back. I add some more ORS on the sides and the top and use a bristle brush to slick my hair back. When its laid, I tie it up at night with a scarf then I wake up the next day and I embrace my waves! Throughout my day, my hair is not super laid as if I added gel to it but my hair holds up pretty well.
