I bought this monitor about 10 months ago and was very happy with it until a few weeks ago. The picture and build quality are really nice and has a built-in stand that folds out. I mostly use it as a TV screen for my Roku and Tivo but I also sometimes take it on travel with my high-end MSI gaming laptop. Both are pretty heavy but still fit in my large computer backpack. I had no complaints whatsoever until one day the monitor just died. No picture, no LED power light, nothing. I tried multiple power supplies, cables, etc. and it definitely was the monitor. I tried to contact Innoview through their web site but for some reason, their online contact form was not working so I had to contact them trough Amazon. I was expecting a ton of headaches trying to actually get a hold of Innoview's tech support and trying to get the unit replaced. I figured they would have me jump through a ton of hoops and expect me to send the dead monitor back (with me paying shipping) and would take a month or more to get the replacement. On the contrary, Innoview's tech support emailed me not more than 24-48 hours (it was a weekend as well) later, asked some basic troubleshooting questions (which I had already done), my Amazon order information and a picture of the plaque on the back with serial/ model number. Within another 24 hours, I got an email saying they were shipping me a replacement! Within a day or two after, another email with the tracking number. I am so pleased with Innoview, both the quality of their monitor but also the incredible (especially these days) experience with their tech support team! If/when I buy another "portable" monitor, it will definitely be from them again.

Absolutely fantastic! I got this for running my dnd maps and it is perfect! The built in speakers sound great even with it laying flat against the table and everyone can see the maps crystal clear even with the light shining down on the screen.

Overall pretty good quality for the price. Built in foldable stand and possibility to mount it makes it pretty good solution. Set up was simple just plugin usb-c and it’s ready. The only thing to note, connection from monitor to laptop is not powerful enough to charge laptop especially under heavy loads so expect you will need dedicated power for your laptop as well.

Certain work products require two monitors, and that doesn't change when traveling. I needed something lightweight and compact enough to fit easily in a backpack along with all of my other electronics, while still providing all of the functionality required for a "full-sized" second monitor alongside my Surface. This fit the bill. It's not going to give you the perfect picture quality and sturdiness of a true monitor, but it meets the intent with a relatively low cost, functional, and lightweight option. The half-stand in the back made me a little uncertain about purchasing, but it works. It feels a bit plastic-y overall, but that adds to the lightweight functionality and it's strong enough to take a few dings without showing the impact. It was easy enough to get in and out of the backpack through (multiple) security checkpoints. Connecting only to the device and not having a separate power cord actually minimized the number of cables. Most importantly, it worked just fine off my Surface, so it doesn't require a "real" laptop to operate - just something with a USB connection. And it came with a thin protection sleeve, so I didn't even need the separate carry case I purchased that barely fit in the backpack (though the separate case was handy for keeping the connection cable handy).

Returned it immediately. Wouldn’t even turn on reliably out of the box, also having scuff marks out of the box on a corner of the display edge. Was immediately disappointed after it took NUMEROUS attempts and time closer to 20 minutes before the display finally at least came on, and I by no means am not tech savvy or this being due to myself not correctly connecting my devices or separate power supply or etc. not sure if it needed to install or run any new software or updates upon being powered on or some unknown issue I was unaware of but for almost a full hour, probably more accurately about a solid 45 minutes of endlessly attempting to initially power on the display and then display my device on screen but it then also would not do so reliably and would need multiple restarts before it would connect after the initial 20-30 minutes of nothing but a red light power light when plugged in. Also did not like the settings menu and set up as it was highly limiting. You cannot back out of a specific menu setting once you select/enter the submenu to change anything and then must wait until it times out to then go back in and select any other settings to change. These immediate red flags and very low user compatibility was in my mind ridiculous knowing I had sent almost $200 for the device. I also had contacted the customer service directly from the website and the information provided with the monitor and never heard anything back. I truly hope this was a one off experience as the monitor currently has almost 4.5 stars and 1,306 reviews, and yet the device I received would have highly struggled to pass off as even used let alone new and highly rated.

Picked up this monitor for working remote in the camp trailer. As others have stated, I could not get the HDMI to work, but for my setup, its simply more convenient to utilize USB-C as it provides power to my laptop. So just 1 cable to power monitor, then one cable for power and video for the laptop. Stand folds easily, and tucks away in the camper drawer between pillows for travel. No worrying if the wall mount is going to hold strong enough for a mounted tv, no holes in the walls for a mount. Its pretty darn spendy for what it is, and the HDR is crap! But for just getting work done and watching the occasional movie, it works great

This was my first time purchasing a portable monitor and to my surprise this item has been excellent! Been using it as a second monitor for work and have been loving it! I love the portability aspect of this item. The monitor is a crisp high resolution display and the sound comes through clear as well. The 4k makes the images vibrant. The monitor is light but yet feels like a sturdy build. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a portable display monitor!

After doing a lot of research and trying multiple monitors, I am glad I came across this one on Amazon.ca. Its a fantastic product with excellent build quality. Though pricey, its worth every cent. Super simple to use, just plug the type c cable and vollah....it works. No need to download any drivers or extra software, it just works seamlessly. The Packaging is superb, comes with a charger + cable, Type C cable, mini HDMI cable, the screen itself, and a well built magnetic cover. The cherry on the cake is that you get a scratch card and a free gift. I opted for an extended warranty and 15% off on new products. so now I have 18 month std warranty +12 month additional warranty which is a peace of mind!!! + 15% off on a new monitor purchase. I love the clarity, as good as my laptop. Sound from the speakers is good enough. I haven't tried gaming yet. The functionality is superb, as its slim and portable and doesn't eat up any space on my table. the moment my work is done, I down it and it lies flat as a paper sheet. There are tons of settings inbuilt, which can be accessed via a smart toggle button on the side of the monitor. It also directly connects with your phone, though I don't feel the need to do so. but its a great feature in case you want to work or present something which is on your phone. Tip to the Seller/ Manufacturer: It would be perfect if you guys can add a complimentary mini HDMI to regular HDMI convertor. That will make this the ultimate package for customers.
