EVE Audio SC305 Active 3-Way Nearfield Studio Monitor with 5-Inch Woofer, 50 Hz to 21 kHz Frequency Range and 108 dB Maximum Sound Pressure Level

I own my own business and spend 8 - 16 hours a day at my desk. I listen to a lot of music while working. These are not designed for my usage scenario but that does not matter. You don't have to be an audio engineer or doing your own mixes to gain utility from these. I really wanted the 7" versions but my desk could not accommodate the size. However, the 5" drivers are sublime. I do have a subwoofer in line with these but really only use it for some low tones that a 5" speaker is just never going to be amazing at reproducing. The imaging and sound stage on these are really incredible. I have them a little close to my listening position so the sweet spot is fairly small. If you're not moving around a bunch than this wont be a problem. The break in period was pretty quick. I could not perceive any shift after 35 hours of listening at fairly low volume levels. My favorite aspect of these speakers is the way they reproduce vocals. You are truly transported away while listening to a good vocal track (as long as they are properly aligned with your position). Fantastic build quality, heavy, sturdy, and absolutely zero issues so far. Due to their form factor they have a lot of surface area, so make sure they are mounted and insulated properly; especially if you're placing them directly on your desk - they will transfer a lot of energy. I fully recommend - I could see myself paying $3200 for the pair with no regrets.. So at 2k their value is fantastic. Great job EVE! I'm looking forward to upgrading to the SC3070's once I have a little more room for them.
