The New Inductive Study Bible (NASB) Hardcover – August 1, 2013

This ESV study Bible is AWESOME! I love everything about it. The synopsis at the beginning of each book. The study guide pages are easy to understand and use. The end of each book has pages to write theme, key points, important words/phrases etc.Detailed maps are found throughout each book of the Bible.

Wow !! I ordered a " Used - good condition" and a received a BRAND SPANKING NEW EDITION" wrapped in clear wrapping, band new. I am so happy !!I should have bought this bible years ago...I wanted to...but didn't. well, now is the day ! it is wonderful. It teaches you HOW TO STUDY YOUR BIBLE, its fun. Read the instruction that go with each book of the bible, and do what you can. don't try and do it exactly like the author says, you may not be able too, and it will cause you to be frustrated. No, just do what you can. And over time you will be able to do more and more of her examples. There are a lot of helps in the bible. Maps are excellent. I really like where the author has given much information in the O.T. Sanctuary, Kings and the Prophets at that time. Concordence is very good. Wide margins to write the information she suggested. I write all my notes in pencil. At the end of each chaper is a blank outline to write all the information that you gathered from the book that you read. I am going to Xerox those while they are clean, and write on the Xerox copy only. Because as we grow in Gods word we have a deeper understanding. Some of the harder books, Revelation, Ezekiel, the author has pre-filled in some of the places in the " At a glance" worksheet. You'll need the help. Like the layers of an onion, you will learn this over a period of months. One layer at a time. As you learn one step and work towards the second, keep it in prayer, ask God to help you understand !! and HE Will. !! Get God involved in this study. He is the only one who can open your mind to understand what to do next. Within the 1st hour I got a lot out of my bible study !! Her margin references are very good too.!! Not a lot of them, which is good, because that can be tedious. A computer is better for this. I have purchased...but haven't received it yet, Jerome Smith's Cross Reference Guide to the bible. Which has all the margin texts written out, which I believe will be faster. we'll see. I highly recommend this inductive bible if you are serious about wanting to learn to read the bible and have a wow experience. This bible will go with any bible study you have at church.... or a personal study. This bible teaches you how to observe the text - so that you get more out of your study time. You'll be seeing things you had not seen before, and that's usually what you will write in the margin. You think that you know a text - say, the gospels, we've all read them 10 times in our lives, but what's absolutely amazing is what we don't catch until you are shown what to look for , what was a trickle is now an ocean. Its the neatest feeling - when your mind just opens up. We were happy with the trickle, priding ourselves that we read and understand what our Lord wanted to say, well, now you are going to have such a deep insight, and it will be with you several days, you will want to study more and more. There is nothing like understanding - Proverbs tells us " with all your getting- get understanding !!" This Inductive Bible will do just that. You will have many Wow moments. I don't do the coloring that she suggests, I think its messy and silly. Just do a few of the suggestions at a time and read the marginal references, and over time you will be able to do more. its fun. !!

Wow, where do I start... Well first of all, I have over ten bible's..... I saw this bible and wanted the bible right off, however, I kept in mind that I already had over ten bibles and did I really need another bible???? some of the bibles that I currently own are the key word Hebrew Greek study bible, amplified bible, the message/NIV parallel bible, T D Jakes women's bible, one year through the bible, Niv study bible, (with many other bibles that are all Niv, Thomas Nelson study bible NKJV... (which is the only one that I think is almost as good as this great find TNISB bible, Juanita Bynum Tropical bible, Regular KJV, women's devotional bible, chronological study bible, the bible experience complete audio bible (which is very awesome for on the go word and away from home word), and that is all that I can think of right now... So with the amount of bibles that I already owned I questioned getting another one.The decision, I could not get this bible the TNISB out of my mind. I kept going online looking at it, going by the store to see the bible, thinking about it... why did I do this, well because I had so many other bible's and I could not justify buying another one, plus I had just purchased one. Why do I have so many, because I like to read the different versions and to gain an understanding and to keep my soul and spirit man feed of the word.... I also have a lot because I wanted to study the word and I was looking for a deeper meaning and understanding etc..TNISB: this bible is so different from all the other bibles that I have seen or came across, I like all of the information that this bible contains. I like the illustrations, the Jewish calendar, the focus on different individuals time frame of life, concordance, one year through the bible and so so many more... you won't be disappointed. Well if you don't have this you are missing out.. I will say this, that you will really study the word with this bible, You will have to really take your time with this one and study this bible, as it has pictures of the holy of holies and who does not want to see that, and just live in the moment of being able to see what the holy of holies really looked like...Well happy studying and enjoy your relationship with the Lord as you begin to see things unfold and you gain your own understanding and gain your own vision of the word as the holy spirit leads you.... This has become my number one bible and makes me want to study more and I am excited about the word, more than I was already....This one is a winner!Side Note: as far as the marking pencil, I have priced them and they are very expensive.... not in my budget right now.. So I will be using map pencils instead.. I would love to have the pencil so that I can have the colors all in one, however the price here online and in the stores are just too expensive right now. If anyone has any other ideas, please post them.Also, the picture above does not do this bible justice... you really will need to see this bible in person and take your time and look through the whole bible. I did not know the bible had pictures of different important things that are in the bible until I purchased the bible. I saw the picture above and looked inside online, but there is no comparison online vs in person.... I am so happy that I have this bible! I too wish that I would have came across this bible before I purchased the other bibles, but everything happens for a reason, because if I had not purchased the other bibles, I would not know just how great The New Inductive Study Bible (TNISB) really is......Happy feeding on the word!

I Have been using this Bible for my daily Bible study for several months now. It has been great for learning more from the Bible. I have been using the Bible Study guides by Kay Arthur and Pete DeLacy. I thought I knew a good amount, but using this Bible the way they recommend has been eye opening for me.The only downside for me is that it is a very heavy book. But I have no regrets in buying this Bible.
