Tablet for boat navigation
I purchased this tablet to be used to run the navionics boat navigation app on my boat. I took it out on the our lake in Texas and it worked awesome. I mounted it using a tablet mount and I could read it without any problems while I was driving, it was much better than using my Iphone. Also speed reading and depth readings from app matched my boats speedometer and depth meter. This tells me the GPS works really good. Last but not least the Navionics app is known for eating up batter life while in use. With this tablet on a two hour boat ride with app in constant use, only had 15% battery usage, 85% was left. If you are looking at this tablet for navigation purposes it appears to be a great fit.

Perfect Drone Tablet
DRONE , That simple. DRONE. I have tried every tablet made, from iPads to Androids, from cheap to crazy expensive and this the PERFECT tablet for flying drones. Flight software all loaded with ease & all work well with this beast. It's a little heavy, but not an issue when mounted properly on the controller. It's fast, it's clear & bright. This is NOT a paid endorsement

Nice tablet, great price!
The tablet worked fine. Even came 80 percent charged. Unfortunately, I had to return it due to the 700nit screen brightness. That simply is not enough to operate reliably in my daily outdoor environment. If you are looking for an android tablet for limited outdoor use, you'll struggle to find a better price on an 8" rugged.

Terrible quality , product defective
Terrible tablet , the touchscreen tabs will not respond on first 1/4” of screen on any app or screen constantly. Have to invert the screen which flips the screen view and momentarily the tabs will respond to finger touch . Pretty much unusable and a waste $ as Amazon states possible partial refund or none under return item . That’s not acceptable, wasted $200.00 . Turn around buy iPad I guess . Bought to use for flying drone .

Works for Navionics Boating charts, but way too slow for daily use
I got this tablet to use as a dedicated chartplotter on my boat, mainly running the Navionics Boating app. I don’t fish, so I didn’t want to spend over $600 on a sonar-heavy chartplotter just to get usable charts with GPS. The build is solid, and it definitely holds up to water and sun. Installed it with a RAM mount, and it’s been fine and locked in place despite the tablet being very heavy for its size. The screen is readable in direct sunlight as long as you don’t use overlays like satellite view. Due to its bigger size, it’s noticeably more visible outdoors than my iPhone Max. But the performance is a real letdown. I mainly use an iPhone 16 Pro Max, so switching to this feels like jumping back a decade. Even basic tasks like switching between Navionics and Spotify feel clunky and slow. Taps don’t register right away, loading screens take too long, and if you accidentally exit an app, getting back in is a pain. This thing is sluggish even with nothing else running. Also, Android apps just feel less polished overall. For example, the Navionics app on this tablet doesn’t show the speed bar in landscape mode, and that works just fine on my iPhone, so I know it’s an Android-related issue. You save money, but end up dealing with constant quirks and slowness. GPS on this tablet is solid and accurate. I installed a Boost Mobile SIM, and while the 4G data and calls work, Boost wouldn’t activate on the tablet. I had to activate the SIM in my phone first, then move it back. Battery life isn’t great either. If you’re running brightness at 100% for Navionics use, the battery drains fast. I always keep it plugged in while using Navionics, which adds heat and seems to make it run even slower. The camera works, but it’s nothing I’d use for anything but a quick utility shot. The quality is too poor compared to even much older iPhones to be used to save your memories. Bottom line: it does work as a budget chartplotter, but that’s about it. If you can afford an iPad, even a base model, just go with that, and you’ll save yourself a lot of frustration.
