This Loop Hut Excel shortcut keys mousepad is one of those things that feels a bit gimmicky at first glance, but actually turns out to be really handy if you spend a lot of time in spreadsheets. The layout of the shortcuts is clear and easy to read, and because it’s such a large desk mat (800x400mm), you don’t really have to shuffle it around to glance down at what you need. Build-wise, it’s standard mousepad fare: rubber base to stop slipping, stitched edges to prevent fraying, and a smooth enough surface for a mouse to glide without snagging. It’s not a premium gaming mat by any means, but it doesn’t pretend to be either – it’s built more for utility and desk organisation than ultra-precision tracking. The downside is that, like all novelty mats with text or diagrams, it does make your desk look a bit busier, and if you already know most of the Excel shortcuts by heart, it quickly becomes more of a desk decoration than a teaching tool. Still, for students, office workers, or anyone brushing up their Excel skills, it’s a clever blend of practicality and function.

I like this table mat. It has sponge effect. It has made my glass table cosy and comfortable. I is a great help to follow excel short keys.

I love this mouse mat and it’s an excellent addition to my desk at home, both visually and functionally. I really like the design too, as the colours are very vibrant against the dark background - it really stands out. The stitched edges are definitely not just a marketing gimmick, as I reckon they add a touch of premium quality to the mat and also help ensure it lasts longer without fraying. It’s also very anti-slip and stays perfectly still on my wood-effect desk, which is a huge improvement over my previous mouse mat that constantly shifted position. It feels very secure during use and consequently more comfortable. My mouse works well on it at all my various dpi settings, including the fastest one, with no sticking or jumping. It’s also large enough so that the mouse is never in danger of going over the edge, but also not so large that it consumes my whole desk space. I’d actually be happy with this mat regardless of the information displayed on it, as long as the colour vibrancy and quality were the same… BUT having Excel shortcuts on it makes it even better, as I use Excel a lot and it’s handy to have a reminder of the shortcuts and functions available. I’m already aware of most of these but I did learn one brand new shortcut straightway that I had never seen before, so that was rather useful. I also appreciate the quirky Swan origami detail, as I like life to be less boring, so probably why it appeals to me, and not everything has to have a serious reason :) Packaged well and, despite being rolled, it was still able to lie flat almost immediately due to it’s rubbery composition. I definitely recommend it and may well buy a different design, from the same company, to brighten up my work desk.
