Very handy
These magnetic toolholders work good. They fit well on a normal belt, and I like that they can snap under the belt without having to take the belt off and lace it through the holder. And, they unsnap just as easily. The toolholder has no trouble holding with a 16 ounce hammer. The only real issue is possibly snagging the handle of the hammer and sliding it off the magnet. Of course, this could happen with anything hanging off a belt. But, I'm getting the most use out of this device just holding a tape measure. Surprisingly, the toolholder doesn't weigh much, just 158 grams. Unfortunately, the big sticker with all the lettering doesn't come off easily. But, the entire round piece that holds the magnet can be unscrewed from the belt clip assembly and repositions up/down and side to side by about 1/2 inch.

Good and useful, but not designed for American belts
The 7 round magnets on this belt-clip tool holder are good enough if you remove the cheesy sticker, which doesn't peel off all that easily. The instructions don't say if it should stay or go. If you don't remove it, the slick surface of the sticker allows heavier tools to slide off too easily. After removing the sticker you can see the impressions of seven 1.5 cm round magnets underneath the rubberized surface.Note that the clip accommodates belts from 1.35" to 1.96" wide. Well, American belts don't come in 1.35" or 1.96" widths. Our work belts are commonly 1.5" or 2" wide. Either way, you have to remove one or both of the adjustable "buckles" to attach the magnetic tool holder. Once you remove one or both of the moveable "buckles," what do you do with them? You can't store them on the holder so they become easily lost.I'm not sure that the adjustable "buckles" are all that helpful anyway. The pressure of the belt keeps the holder in place. This tool holder is certainly well-made, and the release button is lockable by simply sliding it over a bit to keep it from accidentally being pressed. The back-plate is slightly curved to rest comfortably against your hip. I expect this holder to last a very long time.Is this magnetic tool holder helpful? Yes. Will I use it? Yes.

Heavy duty magnet
This magnet tool holder is pretty strong. It holds my framing hammer with no problem. It also holds anything made of ferrous metal and it's pretty strong. The clip works well and holds to my belt tightly. Good unit!
