Food for your soul ❤️
I bought this book for my father because he wants to write about the kingdom of God. I hear it has it in this book. Very excited! ❤️

The Kingdom of God.
The best, most compact description of God and His abode, by someone who has actually been there. Everyone should study this book every day.

Exhilarating.
Perhaps the most beautiful of all Vedic literature, both in Sanskrit and in English.

Typical Vaishnava Dribble
I saw my title pejoratively, this is a beautiful text, but it is certainly not for Shaktas, and leaves Vaishnavas with the all too common impression that Durga is subservient to Vishnu, so why worship Durga at all? Despite Krishna having instructed Arjuna to worship Durga to win the war. Why don't they remember this? Don't they want to win the spiritual war over their own heart? It's very easy to do, yet they avoid it like she is some ghoul from halloween. Oh no, I have heard them respect devi. But when do you ever see Devi in any other form besides the lover of Krishna? And so the women in ISKCON speak of their oppression from time to time, once they leave the cult. I have seen ISKCON women to this day, and they are so cold and unfriendly, even to their own husbands for being instructed that arousing the sex desire in men is some great sin to be avoided. Few ISKOCN women avoid this. It is not feminine or lovely. As far as the book, that is my main contention with it, it has such a strong tone of undermining devi. There is a great Puranic story about this in Devi Bhagavatam, where Shiva and Vishnu's shaktis abandoned them, when they were glorifying their victory in war without acknowledging her role. This is the fault. However, there are some beautiful shlokas in here, the language is very poetic, but don't be misguided by this nonsense. It is pure Vaishnava, and if you want to be so sectarian you avoid Shaktas and Shaivas like some impure caste, then I suppose you might want to enter this world.I believe Caitanya Prabhu was a saint, but much like some of the Christians who have become so devoted to Christ they see nothing but the light of God in everything. That is why Ramakrishna said Jato Mat Tato Path, many people, many ways. That's how it is.
