If you need to flush cut some wood just buy it!
I can’t believe I didn’t buy one of these sooner. I just got done plugging stripped holes on the heel of a guitar neck so I can re-drill new ones. The plugs of course stuck out a bit. I used this to saw them flush to the heel. Worked perfectly and easily cut right through the maple. Highly recommended!

Does a fine job with flush cuts.
Worked very well for flush cutting, saved me a lot of time performing hole repairs. Excellent quality and finish.

Had my doubts...
I've used a few American made pull saws and they were pretty good, although they did have a tendency to bind and buckle a little bit - but maybe it was my lack of experience and skill. Anyway, this one seems to make me a better woodworker. It is much sharper than I expected, follows the track with ease and there is much less binding than what I had experienced previously. I'll be buying a couple more of these Japanese style saws from Temple as needs come up. I bought this one just to see if it was as good as it looked in the videos I've seen from skilled woodworkers. Just today, I had to separate a glue-up on a finished surface. This saw didn't leave a mark / not a single scratch!

Love this Saw
Great saw for small detailed work. Works better than any other handsaw I’ve tried. These are great saws for woodworking. Easier to use than standards saws and take a lot less time to get right. Genuinely pleasant to use.

Especially useful for larger instances of exposed joinery
I've long used a smaller but similar saw for trimming miller dowels and small box joints with significant protrusion. That saw has identical teeth on both edges, but with all teeth set slightly on the side not contacting the work. This saw has no set so cuts a little more slowly, but this allows both the coarser and the finer edges to cut from either side of the work, an advantage in many cases. Both edges seem to cut with minimal damage to the face of the workpiece. I used it for flush cutting dowels and for trimming protruding box joints ( I prefer to make them a bit more proud and cut away the excess rather than try to make them so closely that only sanding is required.) Some slight sanding is required after using either saw, but it is minimal in both cases. This saw is a little less expensive than my domestic original, but has a replaceable blade which will save even more in the long term.

Sweet saw
Yes, it's a sweet saw. It fits nicely in my hand and cuts so clean. I needed a sharp saw that will cut inlay banding cleanly. This saw cuts the thin banding better than a exacto knife, utility knife or scalpel. As illustrated in the pictures, the seams disappear without any tearout or spliting. It cuts with such a light touch that I can focus on saw position and alinement with ease. This little guy will get alot of use in my shop.
