It is a nice, sustained, alert, I can concentrate type of energy. It is a very fine powder that you can mix a teaspoon full in liquid of your choice. Couple of things to note: Powder is super fine, and red (of course) so be extra careful not to drop the whole container or you will have your own little Holi Festival of Color in your kitchen. Trust me on this. Second, it is beets, beets grow in the ground, the ground is made of dirt, root vegetables sometimes taste like dirt to some palates. My palate is one of those. I don't oppose the taste of dirt, I don't crave it, but I don't oppose it. I found the unsweetened cranberry juice cuts through the earthy flavor quite nicely. If you are adventurous, add a splash or two or three of vodka on top and you have yourself a nice dirty cosmo ;) Overall, great natural product for energy. Cheers!
Review: Good superfood product with tangible benefits. - I'm wrinting this review after using LiquiVive for approx. 1 month. I have just finished one 5.3oz. package of the product & have ordered a 2nd one I'm an older person with borderline hypertension (high blood pressure), and although I take medication, I'm always looking for ways to further lower my BP. After using LiquiVive daily (1 tbls) I was surprised to learn that my BP has gone down by 10-15 points. This is significant; the nitric oxide in beet root powder Works! I will continue to use LiquiVive for this benefit alone! That said, the product is somewhat difficult to dissolve & takes a good bit of stirring to incorporate in fruit juice. It also has a somewhat "gamey" taste, so putting it in the right juice is important. I've found that rasberry or strawberry works best. To close, let me say these superfood suppliments do have real benefits but their effects can be fairly subtle. On the other hand, if you're looking for something that will dramatically improve your overall health or "change your life", you may want to look elsewhere. Your mileage may vary.
